Kind: captions Language: en Question: Assalamualaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Give us motivation in this pandemic situation - - My husband can't work anymore, he's just a construction worker here and there. The project is closed nowdays and we have no - - no income at all, because only relying on daily wages. Jazakumullah khairan. This is trials from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Yes this is a trial and not only you, but everyone is tested. Then how do we get through the trials of all of you? I'll try to give some tips. The first you are SURE. ل لَّن لَّا ا للَّهُ لَنَا. Allah says in the Quran "Say We will not be afflicted except by what Allah has recorded for us." God ordained because this second at this time there is a trial like that. However, this must be packed with another verse, namely (Surat Asy-Syarh 94: 5-6) اِنَّ الْعُسْرِ اۙ اِنَّ الْعُسْرِ اۗ . "Indeed, with every difficulty there will be relief. Verily, with difficulty there is relief." So I'm sure you still have a lot of conveniences, like for example you can still breathe, can still see, can still hear. Allahu a'lam, maybe you are also up to today eight days of Ramadan you are still alive; fasting, eating, and so on. But maybe there is a shortage, because the income that usually comes regularly is no longer there. It is also possible that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala moved some of his servants who met your needs. Friends, try to depend on Allah the creator and don't have any doubts about it. Depend on Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. I want to share a story. There is a story of a person whose life was very difficult. This is from the stories of classic people, of course, He was very difficult in life and so difficult that he said and told himself "I only live from my daily income." He said one time "I went out looking for sustenance. On that day there really was no source of sustenance. What I got that day, then that sustenance was used to eat." He said again, "I've been around here and there without any food and until I didn't come home until early in the evening, after Isha was over. My wife and children were waiting for the rain. I went home. As soon as I got home, open the door. and was greeted by his wife and children with hope, besides meeting me he also hoped that they would have food and drink as usual." He said, "But because my wife saw that I didn't have anything in my hand at all , so I sat down and was given water. Then the wife asked, "Did you not go to lunch today?" Then I (husband) replied, "I couldn't find a job at all. I don't know where else to look." Then his wife said, "Then should we sleep hungry? I and the children really haven't eaten at all since that morning." So he (husband) said, "I'll take a break for a while, my new service will go out looking for sustenance again. hopefully tonight Allah will give it to us. His wife said, "All right then." Subhanallah, without knowing the tiredness of this pious man, he came out of his house and when he came out (it was like now) he had already entered if we were now at 12.00 pm. At the same time, there were no lights like us now, maybe at 10:00 at night, if we are now old, everyone is sleeping. Dark. aka So he went. He did not know where he was going as he prayed to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala "Where are my footsteps? I myself have not eaten all day and my wife and children have not eaten either. Give us sustenance." Until walking, He said "My eyes suddenly saw a mosque." around his house not far from his house. Dark. There are no lights, in the past, there were no lights. People use a wick, use oil, light it, then it will be bright. That too is very little explanation. As we know when using axes. So, he tried to light the fire after it was lit, he took ablution and he prayed. He didn't know what to do. he started praying. After the prayer ended , he prayed to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala so that it would be easier for him to be given all kinds of sustenance and be removed from this poverty problem. After that Subhanallah happened that night the ruler of that region. it's like if we can speak, the king is restless and can't sleep and. like a person who is afraid to die His heart is driven to give charity. So he took some bags filled with gold and brought them with him and he said, "O Allah, my heart is very restless. I am afraid of death, while I still do not have sufficient provisions to meet you. So allow this servant of yours to give charity in your path." He carried how many sacks he could carry. Small sacks filled with gold parcels. He got on the horse and he said, "O Allah, and I ask you for guidance. I will not take hold of the reins of this horse of mine. I will let it go." The king did not ask to be escorted by anyone. So moved his heart. Subhanallah, he (King) is walking. Street. Subhanallah, Glory be to Allah, this true story explains that his horse stopped at the mosque where there was a pious person, which was difficult. He was also surprised that his horse entered the courtyard of the mosque and remained there. He (King) came down. He (a pious person) said, "Is this the secret why Allah brought to this mosque he said I entered the dark mosque only one light wick. The wick of the candle. Then, I heard like someone was talking. I tried to approach the voice, it always turned out to be people who are praying Now that poor person was praying. O Allah, make it easy for sustenance after a day without eating with my wife and children. Give us sustenance. I don't know where else to go. I beg of you. He whines from Allah. This king listen, then the king rebuked this poor man. After greeting, then greeting was answered. The king said, "I heard your complaint to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala." I happened to have some bags of gold money. I will give it to you as alms . And you know, I am the King of this region. I was anxious to go out and give charity. And Allah showed me to this mosque. Maybe you are the one Allah meant. Then, then I will... ..give it to me. and you this money as alms in the way of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. between us -- pray and the third is God. And I hope whatever you need come to my palace any time. I believe that God moved my heart. I met you. Subhanallah this poor person is amazing - - if you have faith. What did he say? O Lord, if I had any need other than what you are going to give me, I would not come to ask you again. But I will ask Allah who has sent you to come to Me. Closing design - - try to take a good lesson. There is another story that was attended by Imam Ath-Tabari quoted this story. At that time Imam Ath-Tabari was still young. There was a very old man in Mecca who overshadowed about eight women. he is the only boy himself, so in the story it is said that there are 4 daughters, there is a wife, he is grateful that there are in-laws he has 6, then there are 2 sisters. He is a woman. 8 equals him to 9 people. 8 women all poor living only from this man's produce. and this man -- is 60 years old, almost 70 years old. Long story short, my friends. Ath-Thabari recounted - because he was said to have been present from the beginning of this story, I tried to tell it. he said there was someone who- - old, poor. I saw two weeds around the Grand Mosque in Mecca during the Hajj season. he tried to find a mouthful of rice, said Imam Tabari, then he did not find it, then he went home. Imam Tabari was interested in following this man until he finally arrived at his house. he saw the condition of this person very poor. What is clear is that he was asked by his wife which is similar to the story of the poor man earlier (Is there food for us today?). Coincidentally, it was the beginning of Ramadan in Mecca. They had breakfast. There is no food, now when I want to break the fast there is also no food. So he said, "I've tried before -- looking around looking for food for us to break our fast but there's nothing." Then he said, "Let me out again." Get this old man out of the way away from his house. What do you think should be done? Where should he work while praying to Allah. "Yes, Allah give sustenance." Until because he was tired - Sleep in a tree under a tree under a tree, then he accidentally touched his hand - - touched the ground that was there then he touched like a hard object so for him to see there was a box next to him. He didn't notice when he sat down. And this box is usually used to fill gold, so he opened the box and it turned out that there was actually a lot of gold if I'm not mistaken at that time it was 1000 gold pieces. So he saw the opening of this treasure which was -- extraordinary in daylight. Egga is there, under the tree too. He saw left and right there is no division of society. On the outskirts. So it was taken with him, wrapped neatly at that time - - with his cloth and he had time to think crossed his mind the devil tempting. "You're a poor person even if you don't want to take everything take at least one gold bar or one gold dinar coin - - which you can spend to break your family's fast but he fights until he says, "No it can't be my right even if this is 'Bukhatah'. Bukhatahini is like a treasure that is... - found. That's the condition, all of you friends, advertised for a year. For a year you advertise. If it's been a new year, it might be your property. Here are all my friends. He went home and then he planned not to tell his wife. Then, apparently because his wife opened the door, she saw something in her hand, what did his wife say, "Have you brought lunch for us?" he said "nothing." then then wife says but what is it? Brought your cloth package? He (husband) says this is none of your business. He (wife) said, "I ask Allah to explain what it is?" because his wife carried the name of Allah, so He told the story like this. His wife was a poor woman with gold. Rich women only hear that gold may be interested, especially the poor - - which is difficult. then he said then we can use it because we are poor people. and that's the treasure you found. He (husband) said, "No! By Allah. Even if we can use this one year after we advertise." - "Don't be careless." So his wife said, "Then.." similar to the devil's initial temptation "then - - at least take one Dirham coin. The dinar. We use it to break our halal fast for us. Now we are very poor. We can't, Father. Eight people you have to shelter now. He (husband) said, "No! for the sake of Allah. If you touch this box, you take something, by Allah, I will divorce it. his wife was shocked by the -- - those words. Finally, seeing the seriousness of her husband she did not dare either. Keep it at his house. Finally it was time to break the fast. When they break their fast, they break their fast as is. Just plain water, dry breads are in the house - - eaten already. Tomorrow morning, after the morning prayer at the forbidden mosque, this old man when he came out - - it turned out that there was one person from Khurasan. This Khurasan from Iraq and Iran always came up - on a rock near the Haram mosque and screamed. He said, "O Muslims O - - people who are on Hajj. O servants of Allah. I lost a gold box - - it contains a thousand Dirhams of gold. Whoever finds it please return it to me and - - may Allah reward him with a reward. and forgiveness of sins of exaltation and so on. Apparently this old man... listen. This box was the one he found yesterday but he also needed it. So he said, O Khurasani. This Khurasani is like someone from Khorasan area. He knows this person from Khurasan. - Maybe from his face, he looks like a Khurasan person. Hey! Khurasan. If someone finds out how much - - would you give him? Then the khurasan person said, "How much did he ask for?" he's half." The Khurasan man said, "You can't." Then - - Give me how much you want? maybe a tenth. 10% I mean. The Khurasan people said they couldn't. He returned because of Allah - And I pray for a reward with Allah. He's poor. This is the second day of Ramadan. Sahur and iftar yesterday was barely enough with dry bread with water. He's old too. He is almost 70 years old. Where do you want to work? There was already so much gold in his house. The temptation is great. Friends, I'm sorry it's a bit long. I'm going to say this and I'm answering this question -- because I see that this is a problem we're currently facing and I need an answer in faith. Moreover, the questioner asked what kind of motivation could be conveyed. I have to tell this story, hopefully my friends who are facing layoffs are having a hard time - - like this mother was complaining. Her husband is just a construction worker. Now again stop and all sorts - God willing, given a way out. Okay, let's go back to the story, friends. So - - This man went home and he said, "O my wife I have found the owner of this gold." His wife said, "Ahamdulillah. Then how is the progress?" But, I asked him to pay something." Then he asked how much he wanted to negotiate? I said - - about half. He refused. Then, I offered a third. He refused too. Then, a quarter refused too. Until I finally emphasized He said he also didn't want to. He just wanted to be prayed for. His wife said you should try to go back to her, who knows if she still wants to negotiate . people - - that's the same as people of Khurasan climbing on a rock near the Grand Mosque. "O Muslims, O people who have made the pilgrimage by the servants of Allah, did you not find my chest? It contains a thousand - Gold dinars? May Allah give him the position, Allah forgive his sins, raise his rank and so on. He prayed for it. The old man came again saying, "O Khurosan! I told you - - give a salary maybe if you offer a wage the person will give it back to the inventor. He said how much my uncle gave me? He said yesterday, "I said a tenth." The Khuroisan said, "No. I don't want to." - Then just give him one. That means only one percent of the dinar. - Yes, you can't. He uses half of it as alms to buy food for poor people around the Grand Mosque. The other half he uses for his family's needs. This Khurosan Khurosan people then say no for the sake of Allah. This is extraordinary. They don't want to give them, but they don't have to return them whole or not and they hope - - Glory be to Allah. If he asks for money, I don't want to. This poor man returned to his house and told his wife again. - "Wow, this person really doesn't want to." He didn't want to give even a single Dinar coin. His wife said then - "Then what?" He (husband) said "I will be determined to return it. May Allah solve our problems. Imam Ath-Thaubari said who told this story, he was really present in this story he knew the story. - and he told. And then this person came back again, it turned out that the next day it was still the same - - again it happened again and then this old man said because it had been three days in a row he said O Khurosan. You want your coffin? I know where your coffin is. Said he (Khurosan), "Okay - I will come." follow him, said Imam Ath-Thobaru. I went to this old man's house. They walk. When he arrived at one house, there was a house whose walls were made of clay that did not appear to exist at all - - seemed worth leaving. But just clay maybe you have strong winds can fall. The roof was covered only with torn cloth. The door was lifted to be opened. Then he came in and was invited in. I also gave my permission to say, "I'm sorry Uncle, - - can I come in?" Because from the beginning I (Imam Ath-Thobari) saw this story. So he said, "Come in." When we entered the house there was no carpet at all, nothing was empty. There's only a kind of barrier (barrier) and it's as if behind the barrier there are old women - It's also difficult to see from their appearance. His clothes are just like that. Then then the old man - this is headed in one direction in his house continues to be dug see the ground out the box. Then it was said, "I am the inventor of your treasure, this. And I asked you to give me some of this treasure." As you can see, my family is struggling like this. I live here with nine people in this small house. I'm a male myself and I'm almost 70 years old while my wife is here - - also old, I have my in-laws, I have two sisters, I have four children. They are all poor. So the Khurosan said, "The chest was opened and it was still intact. There are 1000." He said, "No." I will not give anything. Then then lifted the milk chest, then he came out. I can only - Wish you (the finder of the chest) goodness. When he (the Khurosan) came out, said Imam Ath-Thobari. All these women who - there were elders who actually helped the rioters like someone who bit their finger and were surprised that someone was there - - were given back a thousand dinars but were not paid anything and our character is extraordinary. He just said "Innalillahi Wa Innailaihirojiun." Already. istirja'. This is a disaster. Found out -- what and he's totally honest. He takes care that he will not take it because he is afraid of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. He said meanwhile - Imam Ath-Thobri said, I don't know what to say? I also bowed my head awry - Because at that time Imam Ath-Thobri was still young and didn't have anything like that. Even if he wants to help, what can he do to help? He said, suddenly someone knocked on the door and the owner of this house opened it, it turned out that the Khurosan person earlier - - came back again. Said he (the owner of the house), "What's the matter, O Khurosan? The term Khurosan means the nisbat to the land of Khurosan - that. Said the Khurosan man, "May I come in?" said the owner of the house, "Okay, please come in." he was from Khurosan. Then he told this story. I have a father who left three -- containers like this one containing a thousand gold dinars each. A thousand gold dinars. When my father -- before he died he said, "One gold dinar you share as an inheritance. One Gold Dinar one - - box means not just one Dinar, but one box. That means a thousand gold dinars, you are like an inheritance. That's a lot. One more box of a thousand gold dinars, you use to go for Hajj. If I die. And a box of gold dinars and a third of its wealth means that you give it to a person who is very poor and difficult. I want them to have a good life. So he said, this Khurosan man, That's why Uncle, I don't want to give him - - a dirham. One dinar also means. Because this is my parent's trust. But by Allah after I get out of here. - I was really trying to see if you were really poor (poor) or not? After I saw your place and I left you are not angry it's okay, then I see you - - The most worthy person to receive (gold). So take this all alms in the name of my father. Imam Ath-Thobri said. Suddenly the Khurosan put it down and then ran away. I tried to chase him. - want to say thank you with the owner of the house, we can see it is gone . Then I was called back by the owner of the house. Sit down then open the chest. - Then began to be called the eight women in his house. Imam Ath-Thobari said. By Allah He began to divide us equally (fairly) all the women one by one given one gold by throwing it. And he sat like a man sitting cross-legged. So the cloth . and to me also a piece of gold. Because our number was 10, where previously their number was nine, and Imam-Ath-Thobari was added to ten. So we each got 100 Dinars. Because in total there are a thousand Dinars. So each of them got 100 dinars. When he finished, then he said to his wife, O my wife. Isn't this better after - - we have a little patience Allah makes everything ours, than yesterday you took one Dinnar? But illegal. Then he came back to me (Imam Ath-Thobari). He said by Allah this dress that I -- was wearing, He said. This is the only complete shirt in our house. As you can see these clothes are all worn by - - My family is not fit for prayer. So when it's time for prayer, I pray first and then -- - I hide in one place. I opened this shirt and used it for my wife to pray. After -- it was opened and used for prayer by my in-laws. Opened again, for use by my sisters. Then used by my children. One shirt said Imam Tabari I thanked him then I left. I found the treasure -- a very blessing in my life, he said. And, at that moment I want to thank you. I want to buy something that can be used to break the fast. I mean I came to his place. I found that - - the women whose clothes were shabby, had changed their clothes and brought food - - They broke their fast properly. Then I went home, said Imam Ath-Tabari. A few years later - - I came back to Mecca I was waiting for me to come to the same address the house was no longer there. I found out that this old man had died and I found his children who - - the four women were all married to prominent figures. Public. They're rich people and -- and their families become people who can afford it all. It takes patience, it takes patience, brother and sister. Rest assured Allah will not make it difficult for us Allah does not want that. But another trial is coming - Who else but you yourself. Furthermore, I recommend the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam if we are being given a trial, look at those who are above us, look at those who are more difficult. If we - - limp, naudzubillah, stump one leg, look at the person who stump two legs. If two legs stumped, look at the person who also mutilated his hand. If his legs and arms are stumped, then look - - a blind man. Always look at people who are more difficult or suffering. So that we always know that God's favor is so great -- to us. sometimes friends, I see there are people who complain extraordinary when in fact -- the problem is small in their life. Problems he can still go through. But exaggerated the problem. So, in the end he couldn't go through the ordeal well. What did Umar RA say about this matter? People whom Allah gives trials to him and surely Allah will test His servants. As - Allah explained in QS: Surah Al-Baqarah verse 155. بِاللَّهِ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ لَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم مِّنَ لْخَوْفِ which means "We will surely test you with a little fear." لْخَوْفِ لْجُوعِ means "Hunger. مِّنَ لْأَمْوَٰلِ لْأَنفُسِ لثَّمَرَٰتِ , meaning "and lack of soul." That is, our loved ones die. Wealth is also lacking in crops, there are also no jobs, no layoffs (fired). As is now the pandemic period لثَّمَرَٰتِ لصَّـٰبِرِينَ , meaning " And give good tidings to those who are patient." Who are they, O Allah? when disaster strikes they say we belong to Allah, we will return to Allah." Then what did Allah say? - لَـٰٓئِكَ, meaning "They are the ones.." لَـٰٓئِكَ لَيْهِمْ لَوَٰتٌۭ , "... who will find a way out and sustenance from their Lord." لَـٰٓئِكَ لْمُهْتَدُونَ , ".. And they are the lucky ones." So here, friends - all friends. You are patient in going through it and see the heavier person Insha Allah will -- there is a way out is not possible not. The important thing is, friends, when we are in a precarious time, keep moving, keep trying, keep trying to keep praying to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Support each other. Don't blame each other. Don't turn on your husband, who may be stressed and wants to find a job. Don't let your husband stop completely from any kind of work. Maybe your sustenance can come from your neighbors. Maybe there's a nice fancy house close by. Offer yourself. really during this pandemic I'm a construction worker, I can't - - do anything. My house is over here is there anything I can do? Clean up - - garden? Is it garden? or whatever. Car wash. Can be anything. Try, maybe your sustenance is there. Who knows, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will move them rich people, your neighbors can actually prepare - - iftar, sahur, Alhamdulillah. life can go on. Like that. So Allahua'lam is all I can give - the answer, because I also feel concerned about the condition of my mother and husband and all Muslims who are - - experiencing difficulties like this. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala always gives us all the best life solutions.
