[music]
Well, an [singing] atom's made of
protons, neutrons, and electrons. The
first two are in the [music] nucleus.
The third around it is mostly empty
[singing] space.
But [music] it feels solid. In any case,
the elements are all the different types
of atoms. They differ by the number of
protons in the [singing] middle.
Hydrogen has only one, [music]
but uranium has a ton. Oh, it's [music]
just chemistry
that you and me are made [singing] of
[music] these atoms.
[music]
Hey.
[music]
Well, atoms bond together to form
molecules. Most of what's around me
[singing] and you. Water sugar things
yet I'm dreamed of.
[music and singing]
Look around you see the combinations in
a eucalypt tree. Mandela of periodicity
[singing]
gives us sand and water and the air
above.
Oh, it's [music] just chem
that [singing] you and me are made
[music]
of these atoms. [singing]
Hydrogen, [music] oxygen,
carbon, nitrogen
make up the world. Life forms
do.
Do you wonder how matter forms?
Something strange
when [music] there's a chemical change.
[music]
[singing]
Where did these atoms come from? They
were fused in stars. Light elements
combined, releasing life
[music and singing] from afar. Fusion in
the sun
creates helium.
[singing] I guess what I'd be saying is
you got to [music] use your reason to
open up your mind and see the cause of
the seasons. How [singing] do we know
what's true? The scientific [music]
method shows [singing] you when it's
just chem
[singing]
and me are [music]
made of these atoms. [singing]
Well, atoms bond together to form
molecules.
Most of what's surrounding [singing] me
and you. [music]
Water, sugar, sand, and you'll find
things undreamed of. So, argon [singing]
neon xenon. There's no need to overstate
[singing]
cuz we are of course [music] this world
