welcome to Patagonia in southern
Argentina 69 million years ago South
America and Antarctica were connected so
what did this part of the world look
like back then this dig site gives us a
clue almost read these paleontologists
are unearthing a new species of
titanosaur one of the largest dinosaurs
to ever live just take a look at the
size of that bone

but now you've probably noticed the
landscape here is almost totally barren
it's a desert after all but for these
dinosaurs to have survived there must
have once been a lot of vegetation do
you hear that it's the sound of a dense
lush forest why don't you take a look
around 69 million years ago this place
had a warm wet climate and was blanketed
by a force that would have looked
something like this a forest like this
one would have offered no shortage of
green stuff some titanosaurs ate up to
half a ton of vegetation a day and these
animals got huge to see just how big the
biggest titanosaur was play Nova's polar
