I was really looking forward to the
battery segment so to my mind batteries
have just stopped I mean my laptop gets
3 hours just like my first laptop did 15
years ago um why can't they make Battery
Technology keep up with the rest of
technology and in this show we'll
explore that and we we we meet literally
the top three battery scientist in the
world and we see what they're doing um
part of the answer to that by the way is
that they have been improving batteries
the reason this the laptop gets only
three hours today is because the laptop
is doing so much more it's got Bluetooth
and Wi-Fi and a bunch of power drains
that it didn't used to have um but in
any case there are only so many elements
in the earth and they can be mixed in
only so many ways but um and that's why
there aren't these enormous
breakthroughs in batteries but as a
gadget guy that was my my particular
interest and it turns out there are some
really cool things coming
