In the Qur'an, Allah sometimes uses
"Ana", sometimes "Nahnu"
What does it mean?
"Ana" means "I"
"Nahnu" in Arabic, means "We"
It could mean exaltation
In Indonesian, we also say
we built this house
"We" means "I"
But we use exaltation
Likewise, when I talk to one
person, I use "antum"
As a form of respect I use "antum"
That is allowed in Arabic
So Allah uses "Nahnu", "Us"
Because Allah uses exaltation,
Allah uses the Arabic method
He express one with "Us"
Some Christians say
You have more than one God
In many verses Allah says We
You do not know Arabic,
O Christians
If our Lord had been more than one,
Abu Jahal would have protested
Who understands Arabic,
you or Abu Jahal?
Abu Jahal never protested
He understood
Allah uses Nahnu to refer to One
That's why they don't want
to accept monotheism
And there is no Arab
who criticizes from this side
Now, people start to criticize
Your god is more than one
because he doesn't know Arabic
That's the first
The second
Allah refers to His angels
Angels who carry out the
commands of Allah SWT
Like إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ
We who sent down the Qur'an
Allah sent down the Qur'an
but through the angel Gabriel
Another example, Allah said
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ
If We recite the Quran,
O Muhammad, follow
It turns out that
who dictated was Gabriel
But Allah did not say
If Gabriel reads to you
O Muhammad, follow it
But Allah says When We read it,
then follow us.
Because the angel Gabriel read the
verse at the command of Allah SWT
For example, I'm a developper,
then I say I built this housing.
It was not him who built,
but the builders
But, he was the one who ordered it
So the word "Nahnu" used in the
Qur'an has two possibilities
First, for exaltation
The other one is to show there are
subordinates who work on My orders
