السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ
وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
إن الحمد لله، نحمدُه ونستعينُه
ونستغفرُه وَنَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
ونعوذُ باللهِ من شرورِ أنفسنا،
وسيئات أعمالنا
من يهدِه الله فلا مضلَّ له،
ومن يضلِلْ فلا هادي ل
وأشهدُ أنْ لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريكَ له
وأشهدُ أن محمداً عبده ورسوله. لا نبي بعده
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ
وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ
مُسْلِمُونَ
فإن أصدق الحديث كتابُ الله
وخيرَ الهدي
هديُ محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم
وشرَّ الأمورِ محدثاتُها
وكلَّ محدثة بدعةٌ، وكلَّ بدعة ضلالةٌ،
وكلَّ ضلالة في النار
معاشر المسلمين
ًوصيكم ونفسي بتقوى الله، فقد فاز المتقون
The Chapter <i>Al Ikhlas</i> is a noble chapter
in the Quran.
It is that noble that
the Apostle ﷺ said:
صرة الاخلاص تَعْدِلُ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ
<i>Al Ikhlas is like one third of the Quran.</i>
Because it is named <i>Al Ikhlas</i>
that means purification.
Although in this chapter, it does not
contain the word Al Ikhlas.
But it means that it is purified
specifically...
...to explain abait the nobelty
of Allah SWT's characteristics.
The One.
This chapter was revealed because
some unbelievers came to the Apostle ﷺ.
They said:
يا محمد انْسُبْ لَنَا رَبَّكَ
<i>O Muhammad, name your Lord's lineage
for us.</i>
Then, Allah SWT's words were revealed.
قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌۚ
<i>Say (Muhammad),
"He is Allah, the One."</i>
اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُۚ
Allah who needs no one.
Everyone needs Allah SWT.
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْۙ
<i>(Allah) neither begets nor is born.</i>
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ
<i>Nor is there to Him any equivalent</i>
This is a noble chapter.
It is specifically saying Allah's lineage.
In simple words...
Allah revealed a Surat, <i>Al Ikhlas</i>
containing conditions for Deity.
The first condition is that Lord is One.
قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌۚ
Allah is the One.
So, if a numbered lord
is not worth a lord.
The second one
اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُۚ
Allah does not need anyone.
But everyone needs Allah.
So, if one needs other things...
...to sleep, to eat...
To be crafted.
He is not the Lord.
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْۙ
When one begets or born...
He cannot be a lord.
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ
<i>Nor is there to Him any equivalent</i>
If there is any equivalent,
he cannot be a lord.
These are the four conditions
that we apply them...
...to other lords beside Allah SWT...
...they won't meet any of these conditions.
The One who meets these conditions
is only Allah SWT.
معاشر المسلمين
Therefore, we are grateful to Allah ...
...for making us embracing Islam.
The only religion that teaches
about Allah's Deity.
Allah does not accept other religions.
Allah SWT said
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ
<i>Indeed, the religion in the sight
of Allah is Islam</i>
وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ
وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
<i>And whoever desires other
than Islam as religion -</i>
<i>Never will it be accepted from him</i>,
...</i>
<i>And he, in the Hereafter, will be
among the losers.</i>
He will be really the dweller of Hell-Fire.
The Apostle ﷺ said:
لا يسمع بي أحدمن هذه الأمة
يهودي ولانصراني
ثم يموت ولم يؤمن بما أرسلت به
إلا كان من اهل النار
<i>Who amongst the community
hears about me Muhammad ﷺ...</i>
<i>...Jews or Christians ...</i>
...with which I have been sent
and dies in this state (of disbelief)...</i>
<i>...he shall be but one
of the denizens of Hell-Fire.</i>
Because other religions do not teach
about Allah SWT's Deity.
Some teach to worship cows.
Some teach to worship stones
Some teach to worship djinn.
Some teach to worship angels.
Some teach to worship a human, a prophet.
To persons who is already dead.
And many other things.
Some teach to worship the Sun.
Some teach to worship the moon.
Will all these be equivalent to Islam
that teach to worship Allah SWT?
The Creator, The One.
Therefore, we shall strive to consider
Allah as The One.
And try to die believing Allah is the One.
أقول قولي هذا
واستغفر الله لي ولكم
ولسائر المسلمين
من ذنب وخطيئة
فأستغفره إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
الحمد لله على إحسانه،
والشكر له على توفيقه وامتنانه،
وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده
لا شريك له تعظيما لشأنه
وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله
الداعي إلى رضوانه
أللهم صلي عليه وعل أله وأصحابه وإخوانه
We have said the conditions
that Allah mentions in <i>Al Ikhlas</i>...
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْۙ
Allah does not beget nor born.
If Allah begets and has children,
how many would He have?
How many children would Allah beget?
If a lord is born, that means
he did not exist previously.
If Allah has a child, this child
has to be worshipped.
Because he's part of his father.
And that means he is equivalent
to the lord.
Thus, Allah SWT said:
:قُلْ إِنْ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدٌ
فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ
<i>Say, [O Muhammad], </i>
<i>"If the Most Merciful had a son, then I
would be the first of [his] worshippers.</i>
But Allah has no child.
Therefore, among big sins,
the shirk that Allah SWT hates most.
Is saying Allah SWT has a child.
And Allah is angry and considers it
as an insult.
Allah said:
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا
<i>And they say, "The Most Merciful
has taken [for Himself] a son."</i>
لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا
<i>You have done an atrocious thing.</i>
تَكَادُ السَّمَوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ
وَتَنْشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ
وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا
أَنْ دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدًاوَمَا
<i>The heavens almost rupture therefrom
and the earth splits open.</i>
<i>And the mountains collapse in devastation</i>
<i>That they attribute to the Most Merciful
a son.</i>
وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ
أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا
And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful
that He should take a son.
إِن كُلُّ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ‌ٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ
إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَبْدًۭا
<i>There is no one in the heavens and earth</i>
The Apostle Muhammad SAW, the Apostle Musa,
the Apostle Isa, all Apostles...
إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَبْدًۭا
<i>but that he comes to the Most Merciful
as a servant.</i>
Allah SWT reminds us...
وَيُنذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا
اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا
مَّا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍ
وَّلَا لِاٰبَاۤىِٕهِمْۗ
كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ
مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْۗ
اِنْ يَّقُوْلُوْنَ اِلَّا كَذِبًا
Allah reveals the Quran to warn us.
<i>And to warn those who say,
" Allah has taken a son."</i>
<i>They have no knowledge of it,
nor had their fathers.</i>
كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ
مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ
<i>Grave is the word that comes
out of their mouths;</i>
When they say
Allah has taken a son..
إن يقولون إلا كذبا
<i>They speak not except a lie.</i>
Verily, Allah also said in a hadits qudsi
narrated by Al Bukhari.
شتمني ابن آدم ولم يكن له ذلك
<i>The son of Adam abuses Me
and he hasn't the right to do so</i>
أما شتمه إياي
<i>His abusing Me is his saying</i>
يقول ان لي ولدا
<i>it is his statement that I have offspring.</i>
Allah considers those who say that Allah
has an offspring have abused Allah SWT.
They have insulted Allah SWT.
معاشر المسلمين
Verily, the belief that Allah has offspring
is nothing new.
It is not Jewish nor it is Christians'
Allah SWT said:
وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللّهِ
<i>The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah ";</i>
وَقَالَتْ النَّصَارَى
الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ اللّهِ
And the Christians say,
"The Messiah is the son of Allah ."
ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ
<i>That is their statement from their mouths;</i>
يُضَاهِؤُونَ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبْلُ
<i>They imitate the saying of those
who disbelieved [before them].</i>
قَاتَلَهُمُ اللّهُ
<i>May Allah destroy them;</i>
أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ
<i>How are they deluded?</i>
The Jews glorified Ezra.
A pious person.
Some say that he was a prophet.
When the Torah was forgotten...
Allah revealed to him
...that he dictated the Torah
to the Israeli.
They really glorified Ezra that they said
Ezra was Allah's son.
The Christians glorify Isa Alaihissalaam.
They really glorify the prophet Isa
that they say Isa is the son of Allah.
In fact, saying Allah has offspring
is nothing new.
Allah said:
يُضَاهِؤُونَ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبْلُ
<i>They imitate the saying of those
who disbelieved [before them].</i>
We know that the disbelievers from Arab
believed that Allah had a son.
Allah SWT said:
وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ
عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَاثًا
أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ
سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ
<i>And they have made the angels</i>
<i>who are servants of the Most Merciful, females.</i>
<i>Did they witness their creation?</i>
Their testimony will be recorded
saying...
...angels are Allah SWT's daughters...
<i>And they will be questioned.</i>
Previously, the Greek believed that
God had children.
Their history said that
Hercules is the son of Zeus.
The Hindu also believed that Krishna
is the offspring
of the god they worship.
So, saying Allah has offspring
is nothing new.
And that is atrocioius.
that Allah hate most.
Thus, Allah SWT says that the Chrsitians
are <i>kafir</i>.
Not because they hurt others.
Not because they kill people, but because
they fall into shirk.
They say that Allah has a son.
لقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَآلُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ
هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ
لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ
إِنَّ اللّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلاَثَةٍ
<i>They have certainly disbelieved saying
that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary.</i>
they have become disbelievers who said that ...
Allah is one of the three.
In this preach, I'd like to say...
Soon, there will be a celebration
of the birth of god.
Islam has taught us.
We have tolerance, each does
according to his belief.
But tolerance does not mean that we
participate in their celebration.
And one shall not say Merry Christmas
to the Christians.
Because that means that we agree.
We agree to what they do.
A very atrocious day.
The day where they believe
that Allah has a son.
The Day that Allah SWT hates most.
The day that says that Allah has a son.
That almost makes the sky
breaks apart.
That almost makes mountains
destroyed.
Allah is really angry
with that saying.
That Allah makes them as disbelievers.
Thus, we shall not say Merry Christmas
to the Christians.
It is unlawful.
It is as if we are saying
<i>happy shirk.</i>
He smiles with this shirk.
He is proud with this shirk.
We may not say these to the Christians
who celebrate...
The birth of the Prophet Isa
as the son of god.
and not as the prophet
sent by Allah SWT.
Even Ibn Khair rahimahullahu ta'ala
said...
Congratulating days celebrating shirk...
is worst than saying
<i>happy alcohol</i>
<i>happy adultery</i>
<i>Happy killing.</i>
Because in Islam, shirk is the biggest sin.
Shirk is worst than killing.
It is worst than adultery.
It is worst than usury.
It is worst than committing sins
toward your paretns.
When one says Merry Christmas..
He shall think 1000x before saying it.
Is he happy with
the shirk that Allah SWT hates most?
It doesn't mean that we hate them.
Islam teaches us tolerance.
When the Proophet ﷻ entered Madinah,
he let the Jewish did their ritual.
But tolerance does not mean participating.
Tolerance teaches us that
differences exist.
We guard these differences.
Let them celebrate their event.
But we shall not participate
in that event.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ
يصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ
يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ،
وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،
كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ،
وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،
كمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،
إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُسْلِمِيْنَ
وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ
وَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
الأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَاْلأَمْوَاتِ
إِنَّكَ سَمِيْعٌ قَرِيْبٌ
مُجِيْبُ الدَّعَوَاتِ
وَيَاقَاضِيَ الْحَاجَاتْ
اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نُفُوْسَنَا تَقْوَاهَا
وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا
أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا
اللهم أصلح لنا ديننا
الذي هو عصمة أمرنا
وأصلح لنا دنيانا التي فيها معاشنا
وأصلح لنا آخرتنا التي إليها معادنا
واجعل الحياة زيادة لنا فى كل خير
واجعل الموت راحة لنا من كل شر
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً
وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّار
