But, reason has its limits.
Example: I ask you to think
about spirit.
You cannot think about the nature
of the spirit.
يسألنك عن الروح
ويسألنك عن الروح
قل الروح من اما ربي
"Say, that spirit is my Lord's business."
Because our intelligence can not think about
the essence of the spirit.
From what element is it?
We don't know how he relates
with the body.
We don't know how it gets out.
That is the secret of Allah SWT.
Yesterday we discussed what a fairy is,
our mind cannot imagine it.
What he could think of might be his wife.
That's the highest ability of reason
to contemplate.
Or he even thinks about someone else's wife.
What is certain is that our reasoning
has its limit.
There are many things you can't think of.
What's behind this world, how broad is
the sky? You can't think of it.
It is necessary to reason, but there are limits.
It must be guided by revelation.
What's worse is people who think
beyond the limits of their reason.
As the senses have limits.
