Reading the Quran at night
has its own virtues.
Especially in the hadith, said the
Prophet SAW.
الصِّيَامُ وَالْقُرْآنُ يَشْفَعَانِ
لِلْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Verily, Fasting and the Qur'an give
intercession to a servant ...
... on the Day of Resurrection.
يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ
Fasting says, Yes Rabbi
رَبِّ مَنَعْتُهُ الطَّعَامَ وَالشَّهَوَاتِ
فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ
"O God, I have prevented him,
from food ...
... a drink, and from his lust. "
"Allow me to give him
intercession.
وَيَقُولُ الْقُرْآنُ
And the Qur'an says:
مَنَعْتُهُ النَّوْمَ
"O God, I have prevented him
from sleeping."
فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ
"Allow me to intercede to your servant."
Thus, reading the Quran at night
has its own virtues.
Among them ...
أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا
It is easier to learn.
It is easier to connect your heart
and your tongue.
Because at night, one can
concentrate on Allah SWT.
Especially, when the Qur'an is read in prayer.
It is better to recite the Quran during
the prayer.
Just as it is mentioned in Al Muzzamil.
وَرَتِّلِ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ تَرۡتِيۡلًا
Recite the Quran with measured
recitation in your prayer.
