وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
And as for someone who asks/ begs,
do not repel [him].
The Prophet understood it well.
The Prophet understood how it was
to be poor.
He had once been poor.
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآٮِٕلًا فَاَغۡنٰىؕ
The Prophet had once been poor.
The Prophet never begged.
But he knew how it felt to be poor.
The Prophet knew, he had to feed
other people's goats.
He had to feed other people's goat
to receive money.
The Prophet knew the feeling to be poor.
To be poor.
Allah said, "You were poor."
"Do not repel the poor."
When one begs to you,
and you cannot give anything...
...do not yell at him,
refuse him gently.
Refuse him gently.
The scholars said...
...also the preachers...
When one asks a question,
and he has time to answer...
...he shall not refuse to answer.
He shall not refuse to answer.
Whe one wants to ask for property
or knowledge...
...if he has the capacity to give...
...then he shall share the knowledge
to the one who asks.
The Prophet ﷺ was a real philantropist
that the companions labeled him...
أَنَّهُ لاَ يَرُدُّ سَائِلًا
"The Prophet never refused anyone
who asked him for something."
That was the label given to the Prophet ﷺ.
