انالحمد لله نحمجه و نستعينه
و نستغفيره و نتوب اليه
ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا وسيئات
أعمالنا
من يهده الله فلا مضيلله
و من يدهله فلا هديله
اشهد ان لا إلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ
وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَريكَ لَهُ
وأشهد ان محمدا عبده و رسوله
لا نبيئ بعده
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِه
وَلا تَمُوتُنَّ
إِلا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُون
فإن أصدق الحديث كتاب الله وخير الهدي
وخير الهدي هدي محمد -صلى الله عليه وسلم
وشرَّ الأمورِ محدثاتُها
وكلَّ محدثةٍ بدعةٌ وكلَّ بدعةٍ ضلالةٌ
وكلَّ ضلالةٍ في النارِ
معشر المسلمين
In the time of the Prophet ﷺ, an eclipse
occurred.
Exactly when the son of the Prophet ﷺ,
Ibrahim, died.
And the Prophet ﷺ was very sad
by the death of his son.
That the Prophet ﷺ cried by saying ...
إِنَّ الْقَلْبَ يَحْزَنُ
وَالْعَيْنَ تَدْمَعُ
ولا نقول إلا ما يرضى ربنا
وإنا بفراقك يا إبراهيم لمحزونون
"The heart grieves,
the eyes weep."
"But we do not say anything
except what Allah SWT pleases."
"Verily, we grieve
with you leaving, O my son, Ibrahim."
However, the Prophet ﷺ explained
to the Companions.
Because at that time the utterance was
partly revealed.
Some people said the eclipse occurred
because of لموت إبراهيم.
Because of the death of the Prophet ﷺ'son.
After the eclipse prayer,
the Prophet reminded by saying:
إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ
آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ
يُخَوِّفُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ
"Truly the sun and moon are
signs of the greatness of Allah SWT."
"Allah sent the sun and the moon
to give fear to His servants."
لاَ يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ
Said the Prophet ﷺ, "The eclipse occurred
not because of the death of a person."
فإذا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا
فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا
The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you see an eclipse
of the sun or the moon, then pray."
The Prophet reminded the principles of
faith.
That eclipses are mere natural
phenomena.
And Allah creates this pehenomenon
to give fear to His servants.
That the universe
will not always be this way.
There are times that the universe
will change its rules.
Therefore, Allah gives us some
natural phenomena.
Such as earthquakes, tsunami,
eclipses, and so on.
That this is a small example.
The sun will not always shine
and nor the moon.
What is obligatory for us is
to prepare to meet that day.
Today, sins are
everywhere.
It is easy for us to commit sins.
We have trouble to guard our eyes.
We have difficulty to guard our hearing.
We find it difficult to hold our tongue
to speak.
We have difficulty to hold our hands
to comment, to analyze.
And this is not necessarily useful.
Thus, we must fear
Allah SWT.
We shall remember that our life is
getting shorter.
And our death is coming
soon we'll meet Allah SWT.
Do not be deceived by longevity,
health that Allah has given us.
Because time flies so fast.
And we have only but a few
opportunities.
اليوم عمل بلا حساب
وغدا حساب بلا عمل
Now, you may do deeds.
Nobody is reckoning you.
You may do deeds.
You may do as you please.
And on the Day of Resurrection,
there will be no more deeds and doing...
There is only reckoning.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
keep us from committing sins.
May Allah add our piety
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
إن الله وملائكته يصلون على النبي
يَا أيها الذين آمنوا صلوا عليه وسلم وتسليما
اللهم صلي وسلم على نبيك محمد
وعلى أهله وصحبه وسلم
والحمد لله رب العالمين
السلام عليكم ورحمة وبركاته
