انالـحَمْدَ لِلّهِ نَـحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِيْنُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ ونتوب اليه
وَنَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَاا
مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ
وَأَشْهَدُ أَن لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُـحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُه لَانبي بده
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ
وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ
وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا
وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَآءًۚ
وَاتَّقُوا۟ اللَّهَ الَّذِى تَسَآءَلُونَ بِهِۦ وَالْأَرْحَامَۚ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ اتَّقُوا۟ اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا۟ قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا
يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْۗ
وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ
وَخَيْرُ الْهُدَى هُدَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
وَشَرَّ الأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا
وَكُلَّ مُحْدَثَةٍ بِدْعَةٌ ، وَكُلَّ بضَدْعَةٍ ضَلالَةٌ ، وَكُلَّ ضَلالَةٍ في النَّارِ
Ladies and gentlemen,
the brothers and sisters who are blessed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
Praise and gratitude we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
for all the abundance of gifts and pleasures
which God continues to give us.
We hope that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala makes us grateful servants.
in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Don't be a servant who only remembers
ugliness, remembering calamity,
and forget about
so many pleasures that God gives us.
As
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned about human nature.
إِنَّ الْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
In fact, humans often complain to their Rabb.
Said Al-Hasan Al-Basri
يذكرالْمَصَائِبَ ، وَيَنْسَى نِعَمَ
"Whose work only remembers calamities
and forget pleasures. "
How many of us, when exposed to distress, difficulties
we forget the various pleasures that Allah gives him.
Then a servant who believes in Allah,
always remember that the blessings that Allah has given him very much.
There is no comparison with a little disaster that comes once in a while.
Difficulties that come only occasionally.
Prayers and greetings may always be addressed
to our prophet, Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
And also to his family and all his friends without exception.
On this happy occasion,
we will talk about the story
one of the prophets that Allah loves,
Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam.
That
Noah 'alaihissalam
the story gets a large portion in the Qur'an.
So Allah repeated the story of Noah 'alaihissalam in many surah.
Nearly 10 surah.
Allah repeats the story of Noah 'alaihissalam.
among them Surah Al-A'raf,
among them Surah Yunus
Surah Hud
among them Surah Al-Mu'minun
among them
Surah Al-Qomar
Surah Noah
So Allah repeats the story of Noah.
Even a special surah, special about Noah.
The so-called Surah Noah.
Why is it repeated by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
This shows that,
recognize the story of the story of Noah the prophet
is a very important case.
Even Surah Noah himself is a surah makkiyah.
Makki surah are surah that came down before the Prophet emigrated
to the City of Medina.
Why? Because the time of the Prophet in the city of Mecca before emigration,
Da'wah conditions are very difficult.
Friends are intimidated, some are tortured,
some of them killed.
So finally they must emigrate in the future.
So Allah sent down the story of Noah 'alaihissalam
to the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
so that the Prophet Muhammad be patient.
Truly what was experienced by the Prophet Muhammad and his companions
no more difficult than what Noah had faced
and those who had faith with him.
And this makes the Prophet more patient, comforting the heart of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Therefore, Allah says
وَكُلًّا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ الرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَۚ
And We tell the story of the apostles,
the story of which can strenghten your heart, O Muhammad.
So deliberately God told the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
the stories of the prophets, including the story of Noah 'alaihissalam
so that the Prophet's heart, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, will be stronger,
that what was experienced by him,
is not a new story,
but it's an old story
which was always experienced by the prophets before him
'alaihim sholawatu wa sallam
And the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam,
experiencing a very extraordinary test,
Therefore, Muhammad bin Ishaq rahimahullahu ta'ala once said
He said, "There is no prophet, who has the trials of his people,
interference from his people, such as interference experienced by Noah
from his people. "
That is, among the most devastated people,
Among the people of the Anbiya, the most severe was the people of Noah
in terms of giving interference to
the prophets.
Later we will find out how severe the people of Noah 'alaihissalam.
And the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam did not preach in a short period of time,
he preached for 950 years.
Allah said subhanahu wa ta'ala,
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ
أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said
"Truly We have sent Noah,
to his people, then he preached in his people
for 950 years.
Then his people were tortured and punished by a great flood
because they do wrong.
Noah preached very long, 950 years
with extreme interference from his people.
We are here to tell the story of Noah,
only 1.5 hours, maybe.
If we tell all the 950 years, it's too long.
So we just briefly 1.5 hours.
Ladies and gentlemen, blessed by Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala,
Noah has several features
The first,
The Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam has a very long life.
And so, earlier people, they lived very long.
It was said, Noah 'alaihissalam, was appointed an apostle
his age was, some say 50 years,
some say, 40 years like the other prophets,
some say when it's 250 years old
some say when it's 350 years old,
then he appointed as an apostle.
After that, how many years did he preach?
950 years old.
After that there was a great flood, destroying all unbelievers.
After everyone died,
then Noah was still alive after that, some say 60 years,
some say 480 years.
In essence, what is the total age of Noah?
Put it up, be appointed as prophet at 50.
We take the lightest / lowest.
50 + 950
then add 60, so how much?
1060 years.
Not bad.
Only if we take another opinion,
be a prophet at 350 years old.
Then preaching 950 years.
So how much is that?
How many? You count too.
1300 years.
Continue to add 480, how much does that mean?
1780 years. Amazing.
So, a very long life.
So the genes used to be like that.
God made the previous people had long life.
Some people are from the family of longevity genes.
Unlike us, our organs are different.
They really live long.
I have preached in Jakarta.
In an alley, it's called the Haji Daiman alley.
Betawi people.
Apparently, he used to preach there,
he was up to 120 years old.
So they are descendants of long-lived people.
When give speech in his grandson's lecture.
His children were present.
His children, at age of 85, 87,
So indeed their organs are like that.
Long life.
That's 85, 87, still able to bring their own car.
Still healthy. There is no diabetes, nothing.
Their father died at 120 years old.
Likewise, Shaykh Abdul Rozaq often tells stories,
There was one student at the Islamic University of Madinah from Al-Jazair.
He told me that their family have a long life.
Some are 130 years, some are 120 years.
Finally there is one of their families who died aged 70 years.
So they say, "Poor him, he died in such a young age."
So indeed, long life.
There are people like that indeed, long life.
The grandfather of Shaykh Abdul Rozaq
died around the age of 100 years.
His current father, Shaykh Abdul Muhsin hafidzohullahu ta'ala, is almost 90 years old.
He (Shaykh Abdul Rozaq) is still around 55 approximately.
As for us, usually,
in our 60 years, we have been called by the Almighty.
So indeed the organs are different.
So, this Prophet Noah, Allah mentioned that his da'wa was very long
up to 950 years.
Up to 950 years.
This is the first feature.
The second feature,
Noah 'peace be upon him
turns out to be our entire ancestor
So, our ancestors,
the first is the prophet Adam 'Peace be upon him,
Prophet Adam 'Peace be upon him
he is abul basyar.
Then, the second ancestor was, Noah 'alaihissalam.
Move closer please.
So, when there was a "tufan", it's not a hurricane, no.
Tufan means big flood.
Then all humans died on the face of the earth.
All that was left was Noah and those whom Allah saved
on the boat, on the ark.
And their number is very small,
وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ
Allah said, "A servant who has faith with Noah,
just a little. Around 80 people. "
Some say only 8 people.
Some say only 7 people.
There was different opinions among historians.
But many say they are 80 people.
From those who were with Noah,
Noah is also on the boat
he is with 3 his sons
Namely Sam, Ham, and Yafet
Noah had 4 children:Sam, Ham, Yafet and Yam,
Yam is called Canaan
Yam was the one who didn't believe.
Who drowned.
Historians said, his name was Yam.
The people of the book say, Canaan.
Then
When they are saved by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
they did not have children,
or, their offspring died
did not continue.
Which continues,
only the descendants of the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam.
What's the proof? Allah says in the Qur'an
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاقِينَ
Allah said, "We made the children of Noah
that's what remains. "
That is what remains on this earth.
So, all of us, are descendants of Noah 'alaihissalam.
As we all are descendants of the Prophet Adam 'Peace be upon him.
And for Noah, his son who lived were three people.
Sam, Ham and Yafet.
Sam is called Abul Arab.
All Arabs, descendants of Sam.
Then Ham, some of them said,
Abu Rum. All Romans are descendants of Ham.
So Europeans, all what descendants?
Ham.
Arabs, all descendants of Sam.
Japheth was the ancestor of the Habassah, Ethiophians, Sudanese people,
all of them descendants of Japheth.
Well, you, I don't know which one.
But one of these three.
Of these three, giving birth, finally emerges.
So because we know, Noah 'alaihissalam is our common ancestor,
So in fact we should be interested in hearing stories about our ancestors
Because we tell stories about our common ancestors.
He is Noah 'alaihissalam.
This is the next feature of Noah.
Other features of the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam,
the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam was given praise by Allah
as 'Abdan Syakuro
The servant who always grateful.
Allah said subhanahu wa ta'ala,
ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا
He is Noah,
The servant who always grateful.
And this is known to humans, later on Doomsday, in Mahsyar.
As in the hadith
the famous hadith.
When the Day of Judgment comes,
when humans are resurrected in Mahsyar
with distance
(from) the sun (only) one mile
then their sweat poured out
they are in a state of exhaustion.
They were looking forward to when God would come to begin the trial.
And this is a very severe condition.
Like a person that is about to be tried - a group of people that are about to be tried
but the courtroom is still closed
they were told to wait outside
while the sun is very hot.
So they want to start the trial immediately.
Then people came, in difficulty,
towards the Prophet Adam 'Peace be upon him
then they say
يا آدم أنت أبو البشر
خلقك الله بيده
وَأَسْجَدَ لَكَ مَلائِكَتَهُ أسكنك الجنة
"O Adam, you are the ancestors of men.
the first man is you
God created you with both of His Hands
God told angels to bow down to you
God put you in heaven.
then they said
اماتر ما نحن فيه وما بلغنا
Don't you see how we are in Mahsyar?
Don't you see the pain we feel?
ألا تشفع لنا إلى ربك
Did you not intercede for us on your Rabb's side?
So the Prophet Adam 'Peace be upon him said
إِنَّ رَبِّي قَدْ غَضِبَ اليَوْمَ غَضَبًا لَمْ يَغْضَبْ قَبْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ ، وَلَنْ يَغْضَبَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ
Truly, my Rabb today is very angry.
God was never angry before like this,
and Allah will not be angry afterwards like this.
وقدنهاني عن الشجرة
And really,
God has forbidden me to approach a tree.
And I approached and violated the prohibition of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So Adam 'alaihissalam asked your parents to not be able to intercede
because he made a mistake.
Adam said
نفسي نفسي
"My soul my soul"
"I also need intercession, not only you."
I also need intercession.
Then the Prophet Adam said
Go to another prophet.
Adam said "Go to Noah."
People left the Prophet Adam in Padang Mahsyar.
So they walked towards Noah 'alaihissalam.
Then they met with Noah. They say
يا نوح أنت أول الرسل إلى أهل الأرض
You are the first apostle that Allah sent to the face of the earth.
وقدسماك الله عبدا شكورا
And Allah has named you with a thankful servant.
So they know the features of Noah.
God has named you with a grateful servant.
ألا تر ما نحن فيه
Don't you see how we are doing?
وما بلغنا
the difficulties we face
ألا تشفع لنا إلى ربك
Did you not intercede for us on your Rabb's side?
The same prophet Noah said
My Rabb is being angry
Never been angry like this before
and won't be angry like this afterward.
Then Noah said
نفسي نفسي
"my soul also needs intercession."
اذهبوا إلى غيري
Go to another prophet.
Noah refused to intercede.
Finally they went to the Prophet Ibrahim.
Prophet Ibrahim also refused.
They went to the Prophet Musa.
Prophet Moses refused.
They went to the Prophet Jesus.
Prophet Jesus refused.
Until finally going to the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Then the Prophet Muhammad bowed down under the Throne.
Prostrate in a long time, praise Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Then Allah says
يا محمد ارفع رأسك واشفع تشفع
"O Muhammad, raise your head
from your prostration.
Ask, you will be granted.
Intercede, you will be interceded.
That is called maqomam mahmuda.
In essence, humans on the Day of Judgment will know
Noah
among Allah's praise to Noah
a grateful servant.
Though the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam if we look at its history later
Noah was not the richest person
Noah lived with difficulties
Noah was cursed every day by his people.
Always tested with very heavy tests.
Earlier said Muhammad bin Ishaq
There was no Prophet who was tested like the test of Noah from his people
except the Prophet who was killed.
But besides that, the Prophet who was most heavily tested by his people was
Noah 'alaihissalam
Even though he faced 950 years of hard tests,
But it turns out he is a servant who is very grateful.
So, if we should give him a title
that he is a patient servant, it is more suitable,
If Noah given the title of a patient servant, it is more suitable.
But apparently Noah reached a higher level.
He is not just good at being patient
Even he is good at being grateful in the midst of the difficulties he faces.
He is good at being grateful in the midst of difficulties
and the extraordinary tests he faced.
This is among the features of Noah 'alaihissalam
Noah why is it said that I am a grateful servant?
Then there are some opinions among the scholars,
among them
The prophet Noah 'alaihissalam, verbally always praising Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
Every time he gets pleasure, he always praises God
Alhamdulillah
When he eats, he praises God.
If he drinks, he praises God.
If he wears clothes, he praises Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So Allah says, he is a servant
the servant who is always grateful.
Always remember the goodness of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The tough test he faced seemed to be forgotten.
That is the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam.
And Allah likes slaves like that.
In the hadith, said the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
إنَّ اللهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ العَبْدِ أنْ يَأكُلَ الأَكْلَةَ ،
فَيَحمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا ، أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ ، فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا
God is really happy, or likes, a servant when he eats food
then he praised God,
If he drinks, then he praises God,
So the Sunnah is, after we are eating and drinking
we read prayers
الحمدلله الذي اطعمني هذا طعم من غير حول مني ولا قوة
Praise be to Allah, who gave me this food
or this drink
without any effort from me.
Or at least we say,
All praise is due to Allâh, the Lord of the Worlds.
Thus among the features of the Prophet Noah,
among the features of the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam,
Noah 'alaihissalam
was the first apostle that Allah sent to the face of the Earth.
The first apostle.
So
Between Noah and Prophet Adam
there are 10 periods
And not sent by apostles except
Noah 'alaihissalam
Said Ibn Abbas radiallahuanhuma
كان بين آدم ونوح عشرة قرون
كان علي الارض السلام
Said Ibn Abbas,
The distance between Prophet Adam and Noah, 10 periods.
And entirely above Islam. There is no shirk.
All of them are above Islam.
What does period mean?
He argues, 10 periods means that one period is 100 years.
That means 10 period or 100 years.
The distance between Prophet Adam and Noah is 1000 years.
This is opinion.
Another opinion by ibn Kathir rahimahullahu ta'ala
that a "period" can be translated
as a generation.
Between Prophet Adam and Noah there were 10 generations.
And one generation has a long life.
Noah himself was lived more than 1000 years.
And we do not know, people before Noah may have a longer life
therefore,
if so the meaning of period is generation
meaning the distance between Prophet Adam and Noah could be thousands of years. Many.
Maybe 10 thousand, maybe more
If one generation is a thousand years
then what about 10 generations?
And as long as that, it hasn't been sent
an apostle.
Though disobedience has occurred, even though there has been a murder
Among the disobidiance that occurred was the killing of
Habil by Qobil.
As Allah mentioned in the Quran
in Surat Al-Maidah
وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَىْ ءَادَمَ بِالْحَقِّ
إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الْءَاخَرِ
قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
لَئِنۢ بَسَطتَ إِلَىَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِى مَآ أَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٍ يَدِىَ إِلَيْكَ لِأَقْتُلَكَۖ
God said, "Read to them the story of the two brothers
Qobil and Habil, both of whom gave their sacrifice to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
then the sacrifice was accepted by Allah from Habil
and didn't not received from Qobil
Finally Qobil jealous to Habil
Even though they are brothers.
Siblings.
It was so envious, he said
لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَۖ
"Really, I will really kill you, O my brother."
He want to kill his own brother.
So his brother said,
إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Qurban was received from the righteous.
Finally,
he said
لَئِنۢ بَسَطتَ إِلَىَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِى
If you want to kill me, I don't want to fight, please kill me.
Finally, his brother killed him.
This is among the immorality that happened.
After the Prophet Adam died, it turns out that the brothers
the older brother killed his younger.
Meaning, immoral murder has occurred,
And maybe there are other immorality.
There might be rape
or there may be adultery, or there may be theft
even murder happened.
But for those thousands of years, God hasn't sent an apostle.
When was an apostle sent by God?
When shirk appears.
And the shirk that first happened in the universe,
is shirk that happened at the time of the people Noah 'alaihissalam.
So at that time God sent the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam.
What did Allah say, subhanahu wa ta'ala, about the words of the people of Noah
in the Surah Noah?
Allah said
وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَْ
وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا۟ كَثِيرًاۖ
The people of Noah reminded one another of them
to be patient in worshiping their gods
So, it's patient in shirk.
They said, "You must never leave
wadd, suwwa ', yaghuts, ya'uq, nasr
These five gods we must not abandon
continue to worship our five gods
So they inherit each other.
Now who are these five people?
Explained by Ibn Abbas radhiyallahu 'anhuma
in Shahih Al-Bukhari,
Ibn Abbas said
هؤلاء اسماء رجال صلح من قوم نوح
These, these five people, are the names of pious people in the time of Noah 'alaihissalam.
When five of these righteous people died,
then the devil gave a revelation
whisper to the people of Noah
أن أنصبوا (في) مجالسهم التي كانوا يجلسون فيها أنصابا
وسموها بأسمائهم
Said the devil wants to tempt humans,
plunged into shirk, but the devil went through stages
The first stage,
told to wake up the statues first
said the devil, "Build statues in their usual places to sit
Then name the statues
with the names of these righteous people.
What was the purpose? To motivate.
If people see the statue of those righteous peole,
they will be motivated to do worship,
remember their piety,
motivate people to worship God,
ففعلوا, فلم تعبد
So they built statues
they named after the righteous,
but the statues are not yet worshiped
when is it worshiped
Next stage.
The next stage by Satan.
فلم هلك أولئك ونسخ العلم عبدت
When the first generation who built the statues died,
Next generation appears
and subsequent generations do not know the purpose for which this statue was built was
to motivate
The devil revealed that these statues were worshiped
and if they worshiped, it will bring benefit
Finally, the idols are worshiped.
That is the way Satan tempts humans.
So, it turns out that the first shirk in the universe was happened
in the time of Noah 'alaihissalam.
So God sent the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam.
And it turns out that the cause of shirk in the universe,
is because of culting righteous people.
Culting godly people.
Excessive. Ghuluw fii sholihin
Exaggeration of godly people.
And this has been mentioned by Ibn Hajar rahimahullah,
that the main cause is shirk
in this universe is
being too fanatic to the righteous.
And this is true.
When we talk about various kinds of shirk in the universe,
is the reason for being cult of godly people.
Examples of the Noah,
who is wadd, suwwa ', yaghuts, ya'uq, nasr?
These godly people.
culted, finally worshiped.
Examples of shirk that occurred at the time of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu wa sallam
Who is worshiped?
Among them, what is worshiped is Laata.
And this Laata, said Ibn Abbas in Sahih Al-Bukhari too
كان يلت سويق الحاج
He is a pious person.
When I was still alive, used to make food dough,
distributed to pilgrims. Free.
He gave meals to pilgrims.
When he died, a statue was built on his grave.
Finally, worshiped.

It is said: Imagine! there is a person who enters the tomb of the righteous

it's the purpose of the grave pilgrimage, the sunnah.
The goal is to remember death so that we remember that we will die like him

Truly we send to every people an apostle
who called on his people, "Worship Allah!
and stay away from shirk. "
And remind people of shirk, that is the main goal of the anbiya (prophets)
We remind humans of various kinds of immorality,
adultery we remind. It's dangerous.
gambling, khomr, usury
but reminding humans about shirk is very important.
Because it's the biggest immoral.
The greatest immunity.
This is first. Shirk is the greatest sin.
Secondly, shirk is still exist in our time.
Still exist or not?
Still, many. There are still many people slaughtering for other than Allah.
There are still many people slaughtering for the genie,
many people still use amulets,
there are still many people go to shamans,
there are still many shamans
are there still many shamans or not?
Still many.
Many people still go to the godly people's graves
beg to them. Still many.
Still many. Still many.
And many people do shirk,
apparently, they don't know that that's shirk. This is the problem.
If people commit adultery, they know it's a sin. They know it's adultery.
If people drink khomr, they know it's a sin.
If people eat usury, they know it's a sin.
If someone steals, he knows it's a sin.
But many people do shirk, he doesn't realize that shirk.
Then it emphasizes us to remind, "That is shirk."
Many people wear amulets, he thinks "This is not shirk."
"It's called effort, effort."
Although the fact is what?
Shirk
Many shamans, (so-called by) smart-people (in Indonesia).

Let aside the graves of godly people, sometimes the graves of wrong doing people are worshiped.
The wrong people are also worshiped.

Ladies and gentlemen, blessed by Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala,
then when shirk occurs, Allah also sent Noah 'Peace be upon him
to ban the shirk.
How about the da'wa story of Noah 'alaihissalam to his people
and what are the temptations, tests experienced by the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam?

مَاهَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

Attendees and presence blessed by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
We tell about the story of Noah 'alaihissalam.
Allah mentions the story of Noah in many letters,
among them in Surat Al-A'raf,
Said Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ
فَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا۟ اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ
إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
"Really We have
delegate
Noah
to his people
Then he said
"Yes my people,
اعْبُدُوا۟ اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ
Worship Allah alone and there are no idols besides Allah.
إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
I'm afraid the painful punishment will be for you
قَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ
إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Then said the princes of the family of Noah,
rich people, high officials,
arrogant people
They say "O Noah,
إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Really, in our opinion, you're in error.

Instead, they said, Noah was in apparent error.
But Noah, a patient prophet.
He responded to the blasphemy with good words.
So Noah, they say
"No, you're perverted."
"Heretical heresy is severe."
Noah did not say "Ente who is perverted, not me." Not
But Noah denied the accusation, Noah said
قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِى ضَلَٰلَةٌ وَلَٰكِنِّى رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَٰلَمِينَ
أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّى
وَأَنصَحُ لَكُمْ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
O my people, there is no error at all in me.
However, I am a messenger from Rabbul 'Alamin.
God sent me to accuse you.
I send you messages / letters
from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to you.
And I want advice for you guys.
I want good for you guys.
So those who reject the call of Noah,
are the dignitaries in his people.
Therefore, most followers of the anbiya are poor people.
dignitaries, rich people, officials
their pride prevents them from accepting the truth
We continue, please who brings the Qur'an,
please open Surah Hud, letter 11, verse 25
verse 25
Allah says about the story of Noah
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنِّى لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Indeed, We have sent Noah to his people
and he said, I am a warning to you
فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا
Then the dignities of the people of Noah (they were infidels)
They say
مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا
"O Noah, in our opinion you are just an ordinary people."
So they don't want to believe in Noah,
they mention many reasons.
Among their reasons, "Noah, you're just a human,
we want an angel with you. "
ولَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَٰٓئِكَةً
If God wills, they say,
God will send angels to accompany you.
So this is the same as that said by the idolaters
to the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
مَالِ هَٰذَا الرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِى فِى الْأَسْوَاقِۙ
لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا
"What kind of apostle is this Muhammad, walking in the market, eating food,
why not sent an angel with him
give a warning with him. "
So they have a condition,
If we want to believe in you, O Noah,
bring an angel. We do not want messengers / messengers from humans.
Must be special, messenger in the form of an angel.
Then they said,
وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ اتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ هُمْ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِىَ الرَّأْىِ
And we see you, who follow you only lowly people, poor people.
بَادِىَ الرَّأْىِ
He just accepted without thinking.
If we don't, it's only stupid people who come with you.
Stupid people, poor people, once you lecture immediately believe, don't think long.
We don't. We think first what you say.
We digest it first and we know you are wrong.
As for your followers, are fools, do not understand.
Ibn Kathir when he delivered his hujjah
These polytheists, Ibn Kathir said
It is you who don't understand.
Why? Because what Noah said was very clear hujjah.
No need to think long.
If someone says the sun above, need to think long or not?
The one who thinks long is the stupid one.
Understand?
People see the sun above, finished.
This is sunlight. Already, do not think long.
Instead they are commendable because they with their sincerity do not think long
see the very bright light brought by Noah 'alaihissalam.
Therefore, among the features of Abu Bakar radhiyallahu'anhu
come in part of the history,
Said the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
I'm not accusing someone,
الا كانت له كبوة الا ابو بكر
every time I preach to anyone, there must be people who doubt,
no one immediately received.
The only one who immediately receives my da'wah is? Abu Bakar radhiyallahuta'ala'anhu.
Not doing the long thinking, immediately accept the da'wah.
Why? The Da'wah of the Prophet is absolutely clear. Very bright.
So they denounced Noah by saying,
"Those who follow you, O Noah, are only lay people,
fools, who receive it directly. For us, we think long. "
It is you who are despicable.
The obvious truth is what to think long.
Well, Audience, then they said
وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍۭ
"And we don't see that you have an advantage over us,
You're not the richest person, Noah.
You're not the richest person.
What do you have, the advantages above us? Why did you become an apostle?
Why did you become an apostle? What are your strengths?
بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كَٰذِبِينَ
"In our opinion, you are a liar, O Noah."
Subhan Allah
They did not want to accept Noah, and they made a condition that,
so they want to believe in Noah.
Noah told them,
So there are their accusations against Noah.
Among their accusations against Noah,
They say,
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةٌ
"Truly, this Noah is just a crazy person."
وَقَالُوا۟ مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ
They said, "Noah is a crazy person."
Then among their accusations,
"Noah just wants to find the world."
"Want to be a leader."
"Because he's poor, he has nothing."
"So he wants to lead rich people."
يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ
"Noah just wants to be your leader."
"How do you manage to get rich people?"
"He claimed to be a prophet, don't believe in Noah."
So they mocked Noah,
"Noah just wants to find the world."
Want to find the world. Become a leader, get the world,
after that he controlled us, then he asked the world from us.
All the accusations were blamed on Noah 'alaihissalam.
So Noah 'alaihissalam patiently denied, said Noah
وَيَٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًاۖ
"O my people, I am not asking for your wealth."
إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِۚ
"Truly I preach, I expect the reward from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala."
Then they said too,
"Noah, if you want us to believe, expel those poor people."
"We don't want to believe and then join the poor."
"Drive them away, let us who are rich have faith."
Noah did not want to fulfill their requirements. Said the Prophet Noah
وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ۚ إِنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمً َََََََََْْ
"I will not drive away poor believers."
"Surely they will meet their Rabb."
"But in my opinion, you are ignorant. Don't understand."
وَيَٰقَوْمِ مَن يَنصُرُنِى مِنَ اللَّهِ إِن طَرَدتُّهُمْۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
"O my people, O rich people,"
"If I send away the poor who have believed in me,"
"God will be angry with me, if God is angry with me who can help me?"
Then Noah denied.
They said "If you become a prophet, you must be the richest."
"What's your specialty being a prophet, you're not the richest."
Noah denied.
وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِندِى خَزَآئِنُ اللَّهِ
"I never said that I have a treasury of the universe that belongs to God. '
"It belongs to God. Treasure, gold, wealth belongs to God."
"If God doesn't love me, I don't have."
"How do you force me to be the richest person?"
وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ
They said, "O Noah, if you want us to believe in you,"
"You must know supernatural science."
Noah said, "It is not a condition for a prophet to know supernatural knowledge."
وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ
"I don't know supernatural science." Said Noah 'alaihissalam.
وَلَآ أَقُولُ إِنِّى مَلَكٌ
"You say, if (the one) becomes an apostle, there must be an angel."
Said the Prophet Noah
وَلَآ أَقُولُ إِنِّى مَلَكٌ
"I'm not an angel, I'm just an ordinary human."
Etc.
Finally Noah denied their hujjahs.
So, they gave a condition to (so that they) believe in Noah,
just for a coachman debate.
They do not believe.
Just as happened to other prophets.
Let's look at the Prophet Sholeh.
Prophet Sholeh long time preaching, finally his people angry.
"O Sholeh, why'd you continue to preach."
"Never mind, if you want us to believe, there is a large stone, remove the camel from the stone."
"The camel must be this size,
the color is like this, pregnant,
already have a child (who) will be born soon. "
It is impossible for a camel to come out of the rock.
If there are plants growing from rock, for us, it's strange.
Moreover, there are camels coming out of the rock, already big.
not from small, then grow slowly. This, they wanted to be immediately big, immediately have children.
Who is the husband of that camel?
So they made impossible requirements.
A camel come out of rocks, suddenly they are pregnant, there are children.
Prophet Sholeh said,
"If a camel comes out, (will) you believe?
They said, "Yes, we (will) have faith."
So the Prophet Sholeh prayed, "O Allah, bring the camel from here."
A camel comes out. Jreng! (Sfx) surprised them.
When the camels come out, they still do not believe.
They do not believe.
Prophet Musa 'Peace be upon him.
Said Pharaoh "If you are a prophet, duel with the witches."
Finally a duel occurred. Prophet Moses won. What did the Pharaoh say?
"You are the leader of the witches."
"You are indeed a great wizard, O Musa."
Already completed.
إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَۖ
"This, Musa, is the leader of the witches. Even you are Moses' students."
Imagine. Done!
Even though miracles have been given, they won't have faith.
Same. The Quraysh infidels also asked for miracles from Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Allah said, "We (the Quraysh) want you to take out the gardens,"
"We want rivers to flow. We want you to be able to ascend to heaven."
"You have sent the book down from the sky."
They require.
What does Allah say subhanahu wa ta'ala?
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
Allah said, "If we open the doors of heaven, then they go up into the sky,"
"they (will) continue to deny."
"They say, in fact we are enchanted. Our eyes are closed."
So it's useless.
Same. If it turns out that Noah fulfilled their requirements,
Noah was suddenly rich. Noah knows nothing about supernatural knowledge.
Still they will not believe.
So they asked for this just to be alone, to argue.
But every time they gave a thanksgiving, it was denied by Noah 'alaihissalam.
Noah continued not to be with them.
Therefore, said some scholars.
"This is an argument, a preacher may refute doubtfulness, It does not matter."
As the Prophet Noah denied their doubts.
Contradict their accusations.
Finally they have lost the debate.
They said:
قَالُوا۟ يَٰنُوحُ قَدْ جَٰدَلْتَنَا فَأَكْثَرْتَ جِدَٰلَنَا
فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّٰدِقِينَ
They said, "Noah, you are a debater, Noah."
"Too much debate."
"You're arguing too much about us. Never mind, there's no need for much debate, Noah."
"Bring the punishment here."
"You said, he said there would be a painful punishment. He said there was a terrible punishment."
إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
"A terrible punishment will come."
عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ أَلِيمٌ
"A very painful punishment. Bring the painful and terrible punishment to us."
I have. Finally Noah said:
إِنَّمَا يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ اللَّهُ إِن شَآءَ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
"If Allah wills, Allah will send the punishment to you."
"And if the punishment has come down, you will not be able to refuse the doom."
Then said Noah:
وَلَا يَنفَعُكُمْ نُصْحِىٓ إِنْ أَرَدتُّ أَنْ أَنصَحَ لَكُمْ
إِن كَانَ اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يُغْوِيَكُمْۚ هُوَ رَبُّكُمْ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Noah said to them, after long preaching,
Noah said, in conclusion,
"My advice to you, my people, is useless.
"I have advised you."
"If God really wants to lead you astray, my advice to you is useless."
"After all, you will be returned to your Rabb."
"My advice is not useful."
So Noah said so after hundreds of years of preaching.
After 950 years of da'wah, he came to a conclusion.
They will not be able to be guided.
So he said:
وَلَا يَنفَعُكُمْ نُصْحِىٓ
"It will not benefit you of my advice to you."
إِن كَانَ اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يُغْوِيَكُمْۚ
"If Allah wants to lead you astray."
Remember, after how many years?
950 years old.
Do not let anyone preach in a village,
only preached once or twice, then driven out, then he said:
"Indeed, God wants them to be lost."
O brother, it's only been two days.
It's 950 years old.
Try the third one again, try again.
You was driven out by a people.
The lecture was dissolved. "Oh, they can't be guided."
"It's useless to give advice that God wants to lead them astray."
Do not be like that. Yes, you're trying.
Not to immediately sentence someone like that. Patient.
Well
Finally,
Allah says,
وَأُوحِىَ إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ أَنَّهُۥ لَن يُؤْمِنَ مِن قَوْمِكَ إِلَّا مَن قَدْ ءَامَنَ
And revealed to Noah. The revelation is from God.
"Indeed, you will not believe in your people."
"Except for those who have believed. Those who have."
Only 80 people believe.
Furthermore, all of them (the rest) do not have faith.
Noah, done.
God scolds, it's enough.
God conveyed, revealed to Noah,
no one will believe except those who have already believed.
How many people? 80 people
The rest that you expect, will not believe.
فَلَا تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ
"Don't be saddened by what they do."
Allah said:
وَاصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا
"Noah, no need to preach to them."
"Now make a ship."
"With our supervision."
وَوَحْيِنَا
"With orders from us."
وَلَا تُخَٰطِبْنِى فِى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ۚ إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ
"And don't debate me
or don't talk to me about people who will be drowned. "
If anyone sinks, let it go.
That is what it means.
Finally, the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam, began to work on God's command.
Imagine, in the dry season, the dry season, there is no rain.
And the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam amazingly he preached 950 years.
So he lamented before Allah in Surah Noah.
I will read the surah. What did Noah say?
رَبِّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِى لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا
"O my Rabb, truly I have preached my people day and night."
Remember! Day and night Noah preached.
Never got tired. Day and night.
Not like me.
Only Saturday morning in Cirebon.
Day and night, he preached.
Not just after maghrib until isya.
Day and night he preached.
Said Noah:
فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَآءِىٓ إِلَّا فِرَارًا
"And not the more I preach unless they run away, the more they run."
Imagine, his wife does not believe.
His son does not believe.
I can imagine how hard it is for Prophet Noah 'Peace be upon him.
Imagine there is an ustadh preaching.
To the mothers.
"Ladied, please wear the hijab, ladies, hijab is mandatory."
It turns out that his wife does not wear the hijab. What do people say?
He is only smart to talk. His wife doesn't even wear a hijab.
(How come) he tells (other) people to wear the hijab.
Imagine, I preach to people, I say:
"Ladies, educate the children so that the children pray diligently at the mosque."
While my child does not pray at the mosque. What do people say?
He can't even teach his children, why'd he do that others.
Approximately Noah was like that.
He preached his people.
While his wife and child are still infidels.
What did his people say?
"Your own self have an unbelieving wife, the closest person to you is not a believer."
"Even your children don't believe you."
"How do we believe in you, O Noah?"
Heavy test.
He preached day and night.
And the more da'wah, the more they run away.
What did Noah say?
وَإِنِّى كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ
"And every time I preach them, O Allah"
"I preach my people, that you may forgive them."
Noah sincerely said that.
The purpose of his da'wah is not so that his people can face punishment.
Because he was worried seeing the condition of his people.
لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ
"So that you forgive them, O God."
The sincere purpose of Noah.
It's not just da'wah upholding hujjah.
Then finished. No.
He wants his people to be safe.
So he conveyed to Allah.
وَإِنِّى كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ
"I accuse them, that you forgive them."
what are they doing?
جَعَلُوٓا۟ أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ
They put their fingers in their ears.
وَاسْتَغْشَوْا۟ ثِيَابَهُمْ
They take clothes, then cover their faces.
You imagine. Noah wanted to preach,
"O brother ..."
"Do you want to preach, Noah? Go on."
Approximately So.
This hurts the most. These are very damn people.
I often say, if I just preach,
lecturing like this, then someone is playing with his cellphone, I'm annoyed.
But I forgive.
Confide
What if, I am preaching, then people (say):
"Ustadz Firanda want to preach? Please Ustadz, please"
So, juggling. Not just turn away.
The people of Noah were not just turning away,
pleasure to object.
Joking.
There was Noah came, wearing cloth.
"Eh, Noah is passing by. Close it."
This is annoying people. 950 years being like this.
It can be stressful for us if we preach people like this.
Not 15 years. (But) 950 years.
You know how patient Noah 'Peace be upon him.
وَأَصَرُّوا۟ وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ اسْتِكْبَارًا
I was preaching and they were increasingly defiant and they were more arrogant.
But Noah told the story again.
ثُمَّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا
"O Allah, then I preached them openly."
ثُمَّ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا
"I outspokenly preached them, I surreptitiously preached them."
"Came to Individuals, in groups. All methods were tried by Noah."
"I tell them:"
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
"I tell them, O my Lord"
"Ask forgiveness to your Rabb."
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
"Truly Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Allah is all-forgiving. You jerks like this, God will forgive.
If you ask for forgiveness, it's the dry season,
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا
God will send heavy rain.
وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٰلٍ وَبَنِينَ
And Allah will bestow upon you a lot of treasure,
and many children.
وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَٰرًا
God will grow beautiful gardens.
And Allah will flow beautiful rivers.
Because their village at that time was arid.
مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا
Why don't you glorify God as you should?
وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا
Though Allah has created you from step by step.
They do not want to believe.
And finally they only mocked the Prophet Noah 'alaihissalam.
When Allah says:
"The people Noah won't believe, except those who already believe,"
"Allah told Noah to build a ship."
Make an ark. Then Noah with his people began to make the ark.
Imagine, they make ships, in the middle of the dry season,
no rain at all.
What does Allah say subhanahu wa ta'ala?
وَيَصْنَعُ الْفُلْكَ وَكُلَّمَا مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ مَلَأٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِۦ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُۚ
So Noah made an ark.
Every time someone passes by, (he) mocked.
Every time they pass, (they) mock.
Imagine, nothing passes by just silence.
Every passing, they were mocking.
Is this annoying or not?
Annoying.
What are they saying?
"No, this is the dry season, why do you build ships, Noah?"
"Is there a ship anchored on land, O Noah?"
Said by Ibn Kathir, they say that.
"Noah, are you building a ship? Are there ships anchored on land?"
"Are you crazy?"
You're crazy.
"O Noah, are you not preaching anymore? Now become a carpenter, Noah?"
Every passing must mock, and that Noah is said to make an old ship.
Some say a year makes a ship.
So a year being mocked continues not to stop.
"You, this. You, that. (There are people) passing (taunting)" Subhanallah
What did Noah say?
إِن تَسْخَرُوا۟ مِنَّا فَإِنَّا نَسْخَرُ مِنكُمْ كَمَا تَسْخَرُونَ
"If you mock us, we will mock you one day."
فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌ يُخْزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
"You will know who will be approached by a very painful punishment."
"And eternal doom."
They continued to tease Noah.
Finally Noah prayed.
Said Allah in Surah AL-Qomar
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ
فَكَذَّبُوا۟ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا۟ مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ
"Really before them,
"There are the people of Noah who denied our servant, namely Noah 'alaihissalam."
وَقَالُوا۟ مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ
They said:"Noah is a crazy person."
What does God say?
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ
So the Prophet Noah prayed to God, after being mocked.
أَنِّى مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ
O Allah, I have been defeated by them. Help me.
They continue to object, O Allah. Help me.
Allah also answered the prayer of Noah.
فَفَتَحْنَآ أَبْوَٰبَ السَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ
We also open the doors of the sky.
Then the sky gave a very heavy rain.
وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ
"So we draw water from the Earth."
"So meet sea water with ground water."
In accordance with what was destined by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Finally, it's time for God to bring down doom.
Said Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا
"So when our decision comes."
وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ
"and until the furnace drains water."
So some scholars say,
"God does not say:"
وَفَجَّرْنَا عُيُونًا الْأَرْضَ
If we translate textually
وَفَجَّرْنَا عُيُونًا الْأَرْضَ
"We emit,
it was a dry spring. We took the water out of the spring. "
God doesn't say that.
I repeat, Allah does not say:
وَفَجَّرْنَا عُيُونًا الْأَرْضَ
"We pour out, we emit water from springs on Earth."
Not. But Allah says:
وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا
"We made the Earth a spring."
Means that the water comes out of the spring, not from the spring, all the water comes out.
Because God made the Earth all springs.
To the extent that springs are everywhere,
Allah says:
وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ
Until the furnace is usually out of fire, out of water too.
Means it's bad. Water everywhere.
Lots of water, from the bottom quickly, from the top it rains.
Allah said, "Very much water."
Then Allah said,
قُلْنَا احْمِلْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ
Allah said, "We also command, O Noah."
"Lift on your boat all male and female animals."
A couple.
وَأَهْلَكَ
And also bring your family, your wife and your children.
إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ
Except for your family going to hell that is written will enter the hell. (He) will sink.
وَمَنْ ءَامَنَۚ
And also lift those who believe.
So, three, God said,
1) bring a pair of animals,
2) your family
3) people who have faith
Then what was the amount?
80 people.
And the Noah's ark, a simple ship.
Allah said:
وَحَمَلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٍ وَدُسُرٍ
"We lift Noah on a ship
made of wooden planks. "
وَدُسُرٍ
"And from spikes."
So, simple. Simple ship. Ancient era.
Not an iron ship, not a metal ship. Not. Simple wooden boat. Nailed down.
Mentioned by some commentators,
the ship was made three levels.
There are levels for humans,
of these 80 people,
there are levels for animals,
then the third level,
for birds.
This is all there is no proof.
Just israiliyat.
But the point is, there is this ship.
Was built.
Made by Noah 'alaihissalam.
Then Allah said:
وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ
"And no one believes in Noah, except only a few."
Remember, brothers, quantity is not a measure of truth.
It could be, the truth with a large number,
and could be, the truth with a little number.
A person deceived in large numbers,
when seeing a large number, he assumes that that is true.
Not necessarily true, o Brother.
I asked you, the Muslims and Christian, which is larger?
Christians. Billions.
I ask you, in India, which is more, Muslims or Hindus?
Hindu people. Many. Very different.
In China, Muslims and Buddhists, which one?
Very different.
But they are all Mushrikin.
Some worship the prophet, some worship the cow, some worship the jinn,
some worship humans,
musyrikin.
Means, quantity is not a measure of truth.
Not that you are little, (then) you feel right. No.
It could be that the truth with the many,
it can also be with very small amount.
Then, quantity is not an indicator.
not an indicator.
There are ustadh, he's preaching, gaining many followers, not necessarily the he is right.
As the clerics who have few followers, is also not necessarily true.
So truth is measured by the Qur'an and Sunnah.
I was told by senior,
Back in the Prophet's Mosque, there was a shaykh,
He lectured, at the Prophet's Mosque.
He lectured. Nobody was attending the leacture.
Nobody was present.
The clerk, the recording clerk came.
Once, we used the recorder, now it is not necessary to use tape.
Plug in, then record. He recorded lectures.
The recording staff is there, but no one attend the lecture.
Days passed, no one was present.
But is this sheikh then said to be a heretic?
Or deviated? No.
The proof, he died, at the first shof in the Prophet's Mosque. Praying.
This (quantity) is not a measure of truth.
I advise myself personally and to the preachers who call on the sunnah, be patient.
Many of followers (are) a test. Little followers are also a test.
Less followers not mean there is wrong, or right. Do not be deceived by a large amount.
Do not get riya. Don't be arrogant. Don't be arrogant.
Don't feel it
People ( who have many followers) are not necessarily correct.
As well. (The people who followers) are few, not necessarily true.
The truth is what is justified by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Said the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
والنبي ليس معه أحد
On the Day of Resurrection, there is a Prophet who has no followers at all
Walk alone. There are no followers.
Why am I conveying this?
Sometimes people are deceived by large numbers.
There are many followers, it's very crowded.
Not necessarily true yes end. Not necessarily true.
Even though millions of people, it is not necessarily true.
Thayyib
Those who believe in Noah, Allah said:
وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ
"There are only a few believers." (around 80 people)
Then Noah said to the people who boarded his ship
وَقَالَ ارْكَبُوا۟ فِيهَا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مَجْر۪ىٰهَا وَمُرْسَىٰهَآۚ
إِنَّ رَبِّى لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Said Noah:
"Get on the boat, get on the ark."
Bismillaah
"say bismillaah."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مَجْر۪ىٰهَا
Separated, anchored, leaning with bismillaah
Then said Noah:
إِنَّ رَبِّى لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
"Truly, my Rabb is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful."
This Allah is decreasing doom.
So Noah remembered Allah's forgiveness.
Noah remembered the grace of God.
He did not say:"God's punishment is coming down. It hurts."
But the prophet Noah put forward the grace of God, he said:
إِنَّ رَبِّى لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
"Indeed, our Rabb is very forgiving, very compassionate."
These people, 950 years of being indicted, (still) do not want to repent.
Indeed, our Rabb is very forgiving, Most Merciful.
Meanwhile, doom is coming down.
وَهِىَ تَجْرِى بِهِمْ فِى مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ
Then the ark is anchored.
In the midst of very large waves, the word Allah "كَالْجِبَالِ", like a mountain. "
Imagine. What kind of high mountain.
The ship is a simple ship, just a wooden ship. (Wooden boards) nailed.
Nailed wood. That is all. Ship. Not a sophisticated ship.
But Subhanallah, waves as high as the mountain did not sink the ship.
Why?
Because the ship is anchored with:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مَجْر۪ىٰهَا وَمُرْسَىٰهَآۚ
God take care of the ship.
Even though the waves are as high as a mountain.
Suddenly, Noah saw his son.
Kana'an Said the people of the book.
Or historians say, his name is Yam.
What is clear, this is not your ancestor. This one is not it.
Our ancestors returned to one of the three.
Sam, Ham and Yafet.
Kana'an was killed.
Noah saw his son.
Imagine that for hundreds of years the Prophet Noah dakwahi, he did not want to believe.
He is swimming.
Noah was still trying to preach. Until the last chance.
So he said
وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ابْنَهُۥ
So Noah shouted to his son.
وَكَانَ فِى مَعْزِلٍ
At that time his son was alone.
Other infidels (reside) elsewhere. He is alone.

يَٰبُنَىَّ ارْكَب مَّعَنَا
"O my son, get on the boat with us."
وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ الْكَٰفِرِينَ
And do not be with infidels.

"Eh, the Prophet has told you right?"

Noah did not say:
"O fulan, O Kana'an, O Yam" He did not say his name.
Sometimes parents when they are angry with their children, (he) calls his name.
"Hi Fulan!" his son was called
They don't say , "O my son." "O my son"
But a call with a rude call.
When he was angry with his son, he called his name directly.
Noah, with full tenderness,
dealing with the most insolent child.
Probably the most jerk in the world is this kid.
Noah called
يَٰبُنَىَّ
"O my son"
He reminded, I am your father. I love you. You are my son.
ارْكَب مَّعَنَا
"Get on the boat."
Noah did not say: "Believe! This is the last chance." No
Because the Prophet Noah knew his son was a jerk.
If Noah said "Believe!"
He would be annoyed. "Ah, I don't believe."
So Noah did not ask him to believe.
First. The important thing is to get on the boat first. Later on the ship we talk again.
Understand?
Noah said,
ارْكَب مَّعَنَا
The important thing is to go up first. "Go up first, my son."
Then Noah said
وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ الْكَٰفِرِينَ
"Do not be with unbelievers."

But Noah did not say
"O disbeliever" Noah said
"Don't be with the infidels."

This is all the tenderness conveyed by Noah

He said
سَـَٔاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِى مِنَ الْمَآءِۚ
He said "I will get to the top of the mountain."
"Who will save me from this water."

"I will be safe."
He didn't say "O father".
He said, "I will be safe."

"I will be safe." He is good at swimming maybe.
So he feels confident, can swim.
Noah said:
قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَۚ
"There is no salvation for anyone, except those blessed by Allah."
He (Noah) didn't say "You won't survive."
But he said, O this is general, you and the others.
It will not be saved unless it is blessed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
Noah still mentions the grace of God.
You are in this condition, can still be blessed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Finally what? Noah continued to accuse his son,
وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِينَ
Suddenly there was a big wave, drowning his son.
After that, after all passed away,
The infidels all died,
So Allah says
يَٰٓأَرْضُ ابْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى
"O Earth, take your water in again."
"Then the water recedes."
وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى
"O sky, stop raining."
وَغِيضَ الْمَآءُ
The water recedes.
وَاسْتَوَتْ عَلَى الْجُودِىِّۖ
Then the ship leaned on the mountain, Al-Judi.

some say in the land of Sham,

Then, Noah was filled with sadness, he still remembered his child
He is still trying.
If my child is not safe in the world, hopefully my child can still survive in the afterlife.
So he prayed to God.
وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ رَّبَّهُ
So Noah prayed
فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ابْنِى مِنْ أَهْلِى
"Yes, my Rabb, in fact my son who died, is my son."

وَإِنَّ وَعْدَكَ الْحَقُّ
"And You have promised and your promise is true. You will not keep promises."
You promise, O God,
will save my family.

إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ
Your family is saved, except those who are wriiten will be drowned.

"Noah, don't you talk to me about the drowned person."

وَأَنتَ أَحْكَمُ الْحَٰكِمِينَ
"And You are the wisest Essence."
What does God say?
يَٰنُوحُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَۖ
"O Noah, your son (Kana'an or Yam) is not from your family."
إِنَّهُۥ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَٰلِحٍۖ
"He has practiced improper practices."
He is an infidel, Noah.
فَلَا تَسْـَٔلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۖ
"Don't you ask me for something that you don't have knowledge about."
إِنِّىٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَٰهِلِينَ
"I advise you, O Noah. Do not let you belong to the ignorant people."
Allah rebuked Noah. You can't ask like that.
"This is an infidel." Already completed.
Can't survive.
So, said Noah
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْـَٔلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۖ
"Yes, my Rabb, I take refuge in you."
"from begging for cases that I don't have knowledge about."
وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِى وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ
"If you don't forgive me, don't bless me,"
أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَٰسِرِينَ
"then I will be among the losers.

"O Noah, lean on you with safety."
"Get down from the ship with blessing."
After that Allah says at the end of the verse
تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيْكَۖ
"This is some of the unseen news that has happened in the past."
"What we reveal to you, O Muhammad."
مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَآ
"You never know about this story, O Muhammad."
وَلَا قَوْمُكَ
"And your people also never knew about this story."
God say what?
فَاصْبِرْۖ إِنَّ الْعَٰقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
"Be patient, O Muhammad."
"Truly, a beautiful denouement for those who fear Allah."

How is the relationship between tawheed and a woman who is devoted to her husband
and children who serve their parents.
Is there a connection?
Actually, among the proofs of tawheed, that is, people submit to Allah's commands.
Hence, Ibn Qoyyim rahimahullah when explaining tawheed,

But tawheed is all the commands of God that we do, it is worship.

اشْكُرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَيْكَ إِلَىَّ الْمَصِيرُ Luqman:14

انْظُرِي أَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ
"O woman, look at your position in your husband's heart."
"Truly your husband is your paradise or hell."

لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ ، لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُد لََََِِ
"If I may order people to bow down to other than Allah,"

about the woman who is guaranteed to go to heaven from wherever she wants
إِذَا صَلَّتِ الْمَرْأَةُ خَمْسَهَا

وَصَامَتْ شَهْرَهَا
and he fasts in the month of Ramadan,
وَحَصَّنَتْ فَرْجَهَا
he keeps his shyness,
وَأَطَاعَتْ بَعْلَهَا
and she obeys her husband,
told him,
ادْخُلِي الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شِئْتِ
"Enter you into heaven, from whichever door you wish."

وَأَطَاعَتْ بَعْلَهَا

Allah said subhanahu wa ta'ala:
نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ
Allah said:
"Your wives are the fields for you,
come to your fields anytime
you will. "
Ibn Abbas said
ليلا او نهارا
Anytime, want in the afternoon, want in the morning,
whatever.
And a man's lust, sometimes churning without him knowing.

Then the wife must obey to stay at home.
If you want to get out, ask permission from your husband.

Then, if you want to fast, ask permission from the husband.
Why? Because if the husband is tempted during the day,
