hey there Dr Willie here and I am here
to talk about another myth about health
and this time including food so we can
actually try to clear up some of the
misinformation that's out there
one of the myths that I'm going to talk
about today is the blood type diet now
some of you may have heard about this
that depending on whether your blood
type is o or a or b that can dictate
what kinds of food you should or
shouldn't be eating but here's the truth
of the matter
all the research has been done to date
from a medical perspective has not shown
any connection between the type of blood
you have which is due to the chromosomes
that are that you inherit from your mom
and dad with any sensitivity to Foods so
this is actually just not true
some of the blood types diets say that
if you have a certain kind of blood type
you should only eat meat others say you
shouldn't eat chicken others say that
you should eat fruits and vegetables
well it turns out that there are the
diets the blood type diets that actually
dictate that you eat mostly plant-based
Foods happen to actually be better for
your health and so people who actually
espouse that type of diet are going to
actually benefit so here's what I want
you to do next time you hear it about
any kind of extreme diet like a blood
type diet where you actually have to
embark on a specific thing based on the
type of blood
grouping that you actually have just
ignore it here's what I want you to do
just go ahead and eat healthy foods that
you enjoy mostly plant-based Foods
fruits and vegetables nuts and legumes
healthy oils eat to actually enjoy your
life and that's the best way if you can
actually love your food to love your
health that will let you dispel things
