hey there Dr will Lee here I am actually
at a cap site
because the weather is getting nicer and
I am
up in Maine and
um Wanted to actually talk about
um food myths that I want to be able to
address and one of the things I want to
do is to try to clear up misinformation
because there's so much of it online it
makes it very difficult to know what
kind of information you can actually
trust so what I wanted to do as a
scientist as an adopter is to start by
addressing the clearing up the
misinformation so that there's less
confusion all right so today what I
wanted to clear up is the idea that is
incorrect that you can actually have an
alkaline diet how many of you've
actually heard about alkaline diets
right
um You got to lower the ph or you want
to actually raise the pH of your blood
and stay away from acidic Foods well I
can tell you that your blood
is actually perfectly designed to
maintain its own pH which is between
this
3.7.35 and 7.45 it is virtually
impossible and a healthy person to
change you the pH of your blood outside
of that range the only time I've
actually seen the pH of the blood
plummet
um to real acidic levels actually is a
viewer a septic if you have bad
infection they put you in the ICU and
then we actually have to do life-saving
Maneuvers in order to be able to get
that pH uh back into normal range so it
is virtually impossible to either
acidify your blood or to actually make
it more alkaline so the idea that you
can actually use foods to do this is
that you just bunk
now the the fact of the matter is that
the alkaline diet itself is not so bad
because it evolves mostly plant-based
Foods so you're going to actually eat a
lot of healthy foods if you try to
follow that direction but I just wanted
to clear up this idea there's no such
thing as a true alkaline alkalinizing of
your blood using food okay
now I've got so many more myths that I
actually want to be able to try to clear
up and I'm going to be doing this on
these my Ig lives going forward but if
you want to actually want to learn more
about uh the facts of food uh and health
and you want to learn how to combat
misinformation I'm going to invite you
to sign up to my uh course called eat to
beat uh disease course which is the next
one is actually coming up starting on
Monday at 8 pm I'm going to join live
and we're going to actually start
talking about more of these myths and
why they start and how clear they are
but the course itself which is a
four-week online course actually teaches
you how your body actually works and how
the foods that weed activate our bodies
Health defenses so this is really about
giving you the facts and clearing up the
Miss uh misinformation that's out there
so join me uh this come from my next
course while there's still space if you
want to actually join for the course
just go to the link in the buy to bio
again give you all the facts but I also
tell you what are the practical ways
that you can actually
harness this information to change your
life and by the way love your food to
love your health because I really
believe in delicious food so with that
that's today's misinformation food myth
cleared up and I'm actually going to
line up a whole bunch more so thanks
very much and hope to see you in the
course
