Kind: captions Language: en all right it's morning time I am actually in this beautiful setting in the woods and I'm having breakfast and I thought I would actually share with you what I'm having because I always get asked that question what do you actually eat um well here's some coffee I was just in Greece and so I brought back some great coffee it's really finely ground coffee with some hot boiling water mix it all together coffee's got chlorogenic acid which is actually good for your metabolism it also activates your health defenses and tangiogenic anti-inflammatory and I love coffee here's another goodie I'm having today figs now check it out that's kind of got a reddish looking uh pulp flesh uh Scott lycopene in it lycopene is a carotenoid it actually lowers the risk of prostate cancer and breast cancer and it fights body fat figs also have a lot of vitamin C and they've got fiber and guess what they just taste great one of my favorite things I have during the summer all right one more thing to share with you I'm having watermelon I love watermelons mostly it's mostly water but guess what it's red so it's got lycopene same stuff so I'm having a lycopene Rich breakfast and frankly that's all I'm having today if you want to learn more about food as medicine come to my website www dot Dr William Lee Dr williamlee li.com and sign up for my newsletter and I'm doing master classes too so sign up for one of those and um I'll keep sharing with you what I'm eating
