hey there Dr Whitley here I am actually
in Los Angeles and traveling uh and I
wanted to share with you
um how I actually approach a this is
kind of a bakery Deli place and how I
look for healthy foods that I can eat so
on the Shelf here are a bunch of
offerings
um look at this Rosemary almonds
almonds or tree nuts tree nuts have a
lot of good healthy dietary fiber
Rosemary also has Rosemary acid that's a
good choice for something to snack on
also a good source of protein let's keep
on walking I'm just I'm just picking out
some things to show you how easy it is
to find things and how I look at it
myself all right there's a whole list of
different goodies here
um let me show you the ones that
catch my eye look at this green olive
tapenade
all right I love tapenade olives have uh
hydroxy towersol and this is actually
the meat of the olive that actually you
can actually scoop out and put it spread
it on bread with sourdough bread they
have here look at that kimchi
fermented food good for the gut
microbiome absolutely delicious oh look
at this sauerkraut homemade sauerkraut
cabbage salt Caraway mustard seeds
fennel seeds all good
um all right and chili sauce I would
actually get some of that chili sauce
and calabrian chili crisp boy I bet
that's actually good
all right you can see just I walked in
here it's got a lot of different
offerings and I just wanted to share
with you how you can actually pick out
some healthy foods by the way I did
actually have breakfast here early with
a friend we ordered a golden latte which
is turmeric uh in coffee I had an extra
shot of espresso it's got chlorogenic
acid and turmeric actually has curcumin
all good for the metabolism to learn
