Kind: captions Language: en hey there it is dr will lee and i'm actually doing a little traveling right now and i just wanted to share with you what i'm having for lunch uh and this is how easy it is for me to actually eat to beat disease um okay i'm not going to actually tell you exactly where i am in terms of i don't want to be pitching a particular business but i looked at the menu and i want to show what i ordered i ordered chili green beans okay now turns out there's a couple of good things in here i'll keep you in a view so first of all green beans have carotenoids so these are the kinds of things that you'd find in a carrot or a tomato uh beta cryptoxanthin lutein all good stuff but it turns out that um that organic uh green beans actually have more of the polyphenols and flavonoids that actually are antioxidants good for you and then here's the interesting thing that most people don't know when you actually cook green beans you actually activate and concentrate you get more of the bioactives so this is an example where cooking actually can actually light up uh the the bio actives so also on here are some chili chili peppers so it's a little spicy i got a little side i asked for a little side of chili i sometimes like hot sauce now chili actually contains capsaicin capsaicin activates receptors on our fat cells so what does that do when capsaicin activates uh these receptors these like home these little dishes radar dishes in our fat cells it turns them on and it uh starts to burn down the fat so chile actually has now been discus discovered to actually have a fat fighting capability now let me show you the last thing that i got for lunch i'm not gonna eat all this but i wanted to taste it and show it to you guys this is what they call singapore street noodles although there's a little shrimp in there i sometimes get the vegetarian version um it's yellow color because of curry and it's got curry's got turmeric curcumin and it gets these little baby tomatoes these cherry tomatoes are packed with lycopene and scallions allium and lime which actually has got citrus and citrus bioactives including vitamin c so this is how easy it is for me when i go out to a restaurant and i want to get like a quick lunch i got some green beans i got some singapore street noodles uh there's no way i'm going to finish all everything i showed you but if i take it back have it some later that's it we'll catch you next time oh i'm actually doing my last course for the year so if you guys want to actually uh join my e2b disease course and be the the final course for 2021 it's a great gift for yourself or for somebody you know i'm going to teach all about bodies five health defense systems and all the little tips on foods and the doses and preparations and storage uh the link is in my bio so check it out or come to my website dr william lee dr williamlead.com or at dr william lee and uh hope to see you in the course see ya
