Islamic education level four and the
diseases by the heart or done by the
heart and the means to cure the hearts
from these diseases. It's knowledge is
not just words of admonition and
something that we need to learn from the
book of Allah the Quran and the sunnah
of the prophetatam.
Uh last time we talked about aljidel or
arguments or disputes that's a sign of a
disease in the heart and continuing with
the subject talking about the harmful
consequences as a result of the
condemned jidal or arguments as
mentioned before in the previous class
since Allahh would never forbid us of
something unless it's evil for us
whether it's in this life or in the
hereafter. So therefore looking into the
wisdom behind that being forbidden you
would find nus and text in the Quran and
the sunnah of the prophetat wasam that
gives these meanings one of which is
when the knowledge a person is deprived
from it as a result of being
argumentative.
So instead of accepting the truth you
know especially that it becomes clear in
the Quran and in the sunnah of the
prophetat accept it submit yourself not
to a human being but to the creator of
the heavens and the earth whe whether
it's in the Quran or in the sunnah of
the prophetatam but when someone is
always argumentive then they become
deprived of or from doing what is good
as
he
If Allah subhana t wants bad for people,
he would make them always argue
and he would deprive them from actions
from doing good deeds. Opposite to what
the
they were upon actions, they were doing
things and they were away from disputes
and arguments and so on. They received
the revelation from Allah. They
understand it very well. They act upon
it. And this is how the illerations of
Alisam they understood before these bida
and these innovations that people start
using using using reasoning that is not
really reasoning inventing their own
false principles and they would want the
believers to adopt the same false
principles to argue with them. That's
why the early generations of would
forbade people from the or the disputes
with the people of innovations because
we have we have revelation from Allah
subhana t that we need to follow that's
why it ruins one's actions as one of the
early generations of Islam he said so
having the deprivation from goodness
being deprived from
and this is there's a clear evidence to
that when the prophetat was came out to
the people to inform them about which is
the worship of it or the worship in it
is better than a thousand months and
when he came out to tell them which
night is it there were two men arguing
with one another. So the prophetat was
he said
I came out to inform you with the night
of meaning what which night is it?
two people they disputed with one
another.
So the knowledge of it has been lifted
away
but then for that was a good thing for
them. But the point here is as a result
of the dispute but this was a good thing
for them and that's why the prophet was
he said
maybe this is a good thing for you. Why?
Because people then would exert
themselves to do the acts of throughout
the last 10 nights of Ramadan which is
is one of these nights as the prophetat
was said to them to seek. But the point
here is that it was lifted the knowledge
of it as a result of the arguments.
Uh it can lead the person to be
destroyed really. One of the means of
destruction as the prophetat wasallam
said in one of the hadith that is
principle in the dean when it comes to
the things that Allahh ordered versus
the things that we have been forbidden
from the prophetat he said
leave what I didn't say anything about
the man that came to the prophet and he
asked him is every year when And the
prophetat was said to the people, "Oh
people,
Allah ordained upon you to make soj." So
a man said,
"Is it every year, oh messenger of
Allah?" The prophetat was did not reply.
And the man repeated, "Then the
prophetat said these statements, leave
what I left you. I did not say it's
every year. Just obligatory upon you."
Then he explained to them. And then he
said to them at the end that if I said
yes that it's obligatory every year then
it becomes an obligation and it becomes
you won't be able to do it. And then he
said leave what I left what I didn't say
leave it as it is because indeed it
destroyed the nations before you.
They would frequently ask for things
like this and then when when it becomes
obligatory upon them they would not be
able to do it.
If I forbid you from something then stay
away from it.
And if I command you to do something
that do of it the best of your ability.
So this can ruin a person as a result of
that after the prophetatam a person
definitely should ask about matters of
dean but to be away from these questions
that is of no benefit whatsoever that
causes arguments and things of that
nature. Also one of the harmful matters
here is that it brings hatred in the
hearts when people keep on arguing with
each other. So someone defeats the other
the other one feels humiliated. So it
causes them to hate one another which is
something that is from the ways of and
we should stay away from anything that
would bring the hatred in the hearts
towards one another. One of these things
also when the heart becomes uh occupied
and busy away from the important things
and away from the and the remembrance of
Allah subhana wa ta'ala especially when
these arguments as a diseases is in the
heart is for the sake of other than
Allah subhana tala for one's sake for
people to feel victorious to defeat the
other side you know even if a person is
in salah because he's in dispute with
others then will whisper to him why did
you say this you could have said this
and you if you said that you would have
been defeating him in the arguments and
you know things like this will continue
to be occupying the heart so a person
should stay away from that so that the
heart is focused on the devotion and the
worship of Allah subhana tala and that's
why some of the early generations of
Islam they said there's I've never seen
anything more ruining one's religion and
making someone's nobility less and make
the person not having a joyful life and
making the heart always busy more than
always disputes disputes and you would
find that so prevalence in the in the
time that we live in. Someone says
something someone would uh call back
against him refuting him and they keep
on arguing arguing and things like this
and and sometimes it's with the with the
truth and many times it's with b with
falsehood. So we ask Allahh to protect
us from that and to purify our hearts
from these diseases in the heart and
we'll continue inshall with more next
time if Allahh will
