Kind: captions Language: en hello I wanted to share some brand new research that I'm reading that matters to your health you may already be familiar with vitamin C in fact many of you may already be taking vitamin C to boost your immune system but did you know that foods containing vitamin C have been shown to prevent and fight cancer in a recent research study they did a meta-analysis of 57 studies looking at Vitamin C from diet and cancer was found to lower the incidence of bladder cancer breast cancer cervical cancer endometrial cancer esophageal cancer cancer of the stomach brain tumors lung cancer pancreatic cancer prostate cancer and kidney cancer now What vitamin c does is it actually activates your body's Health defense systems and it also reduces the risk of cancer coming back that's cancer recurrence after it's been successfully treated and has been shown to reduce cancer mortality now a few of my favorite foods that contain vitamin C are red bell peppers guava and citrus here's a couple of examples because Citrus is in season right now this is a Sumo Mandarin and this is another combination Mandarin and this is the type of research that I love to be able to share in my eat to beat disease online course this year there's a lot of new research that I'm excited to share with my next course which begins on Monday February 7th and in addition to all the course content my students are going to have the chance to interact with me personally once a week during a live office hour session so if you're seriously interested in using food to improve your health and to beat disease sign up for my course today I hope to see you on Monday
